Has anyone tried this yet? Here's the ingredient list.
Active Ingredient - Zinc Oxide. Ingredient: Pearl Powder. May Contain (+/-): Mica (CI 77019), Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).
Also, is there a quantity regulation when they use the term " May Contain " - does it mean there would be a very minimal amount depending on color? I kind of want to try it but I can't do bismuth... . |

Hi makeupfiend - I had no idea that LM had launched any mineral products! I'll have to try this for sure...the tender rose shade looks like it just might be light enough for my skin! Thanks, Dollbird for posting the link. If the mineral powder is half as good as the secret brightening powder I'll be thrilled! As a matter of fact I think I'll take a skip over to Holt Renfrew in the morning and pick it up and then report back.

Hi Puds,
Holts is holding rich Vanilla for me-the only one that looked liked a medium/neutral/yellow-undertone. The last 2 look a bit dark. Please report back if you see them & let me know how they look. |

oooh, I hope they are nice, I love LM products. The sand looks about right for me, and I'm Nude in the TM. anyone else think that sounds about right? I might order it, it's nordstrom beauty week anyways. |

I not only got to try this today, I bought it too! Could this be my new HG MMU? Expect a review in a few days as I give this a test drive. So far it's been nothing but ! |

The coverage is actually better than Alima...which is what i need right now after a horrible breakout from my EpidermxII (different story altogether). I also bought LM's oil-free silicone-free primer and together they give me the most poreless radiant finish. The coverage is good enough to cover some slight redness I have on my cheeks and soften acne scars covered with concealer, making them practically undetectable even under natural light. I will write a more in-depth comparison in a couple of days when i get a better feel of how these two rack up against each other. |

I have medium-fair warm yellow-toned skin, and a W-3 in Alima, and the closest match for me is Real Sand (warm beige ivory/for fair to light skin tones). Real Sand has less yellow than W-3 Alima, but still a match nonetheless. |

I was sooo excited yesterday finding out that LM carries a mineral makeup now and that it is conveniently available at my beloved Saks!!! Sooo I went to purchase it earlier this afternoon.
I have tried minerals before but didn't like them very much.
Bare Minerals: pasty, cakey, shiny, oily
Mineral Boutique: made me very oily around tzone
I've tried samples of J.Lynne/Glominerals/Cory too but was not satisfied either. ANd so then i gave up on minerals for awhile.
However, I just recently ordered samples of alima, lumiere and lily lolo. Oh no!
So far I really like the LM minerals and hoping it will agree with my skin as well. Because I would like to be able to just run to the mall when I run out. I'm too impatient to wait for makeup in the mail!
I have normal skin but tends to get a little oily in my nose area when I wear foundation. But when i wear an oil free or matte foundation on my nose (even when it's hydrated) it tends to ball up a little; making it look cakey).
When the MA put some on me, it looked like i wasnt wearing anything. It looks very natural, smooth, and even. I can put concealer on top without making it cakey either. The coverage is light but buildable and would still look natural. I'm just hoping it doesnt melt off my face and make me shiny in the nose area. The MA told me it's water resistant so hopefully it stays put with the humidity in houston!!
Okay I will defitely update in a couple of days.
My perfect match is Real Sand and I'm between Mac 25/30, Shu Umera 974, LM tm Nude. |

I went ahead and bought this and I have to say, I'm really not very impressed. It looks great for a while but by 1:30-2 in the afternoon, the powder starts to separate on my chin and gather in my smile lines worse than most of my other MMU powders. On top of that, I think the bismuth quantity might be enough to irritate sensitive skins, as the first day I wore it, I ended up with 3 slightly swollen blemishes growing on my chin, which is a typical reaction to bismuth for me. |

I got it on Friday, and so far - love it.
Most MMU would cake, slide mid-day or just disappear on me. This one stays very well for the entire day, but looks very natural (Tender Rose).
Will give it a few more days to see if I start getting breakouts from it.
HTH,
Lucy. |

holy guacamole - I am all mixed up!! I think I connected with you, Marina, in another Mercier thread(!?). At any rate I got the mineral powder in real sand and just LOVE it! (there ARE two LM mineral threads running at the moment, right?...(sigh)...I'm confused.
