Well tomorrow I am finally going to get something done about all the puffiness over my eyes. It is something that I feel really detracts from my looks. It makes me appear tired and sad all the time. I am both excited and extremely scared at the same time. Just wanted to share and hopefully I will post pics too.
Hugs. |

Good luck. Several years ago I had a cyst removed from an eyelid and it was so big they did an upper tuck on both lids. It was the easiest surgery I've ever had and I am so pleased with the results. Thank god for the cyst. I felt fine right afterwards.
Cheers you'll love it. |

I'd really, really love to have this done (and I'm not generally one for cosmetic surgery).
Best of luck, and hope you'll look completely fabulous when it's all done and healed!
Let us know how you get on. |

Good luck, Sherri!
My mom had a medically necessary upper bleph two years ago at age 63, and her recovery was a breeze. Now her lids are better looking than mine and I'm 35!! |

Good luck Sherri! My aunt had this done for medical purposes ( - her insurance paid for it that way) and it took years off of her face. I know you'll feel and look fantastic.

Keep us posted (maybe w/ pics?)! |

What is upper bleph? Is that when they cut out extra skin on the eyelids? |

Sherri - Hope you're at home now resting comfortably and the surgery went well. I had this done 2 years ago and am so pleased with the results as I'm sure you will be. You'll be wearing eye makeup again by mid-June. |

Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
If You're Considering Eyelid Surgery...
Eyelid surgery (technically called blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove fat--usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes - features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision. However, it won't remove crow's feet or other wrinkles, eliminate dark circles under your eyes, or lift sagging eyebrows. While it can add an upper eyelid crease to Asian eyes, it will not erase evidence of your ethnic or racial heritage. Blepharoplasty can be done alone, or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or browlift.

Congrats Sherri, hope you're doing well.
From what I heard, recovery is quite short - 10 to 14 days?
How long did the surgery take? |
