Was wondering what you ladies with sensitive skin use in the shower for cleansing...I've been using oil of olay for sensitive skin bar soap for quite awhile now but it seems to be breaking me out in red patches lately, don't know why, maybe they added an ingredient my skin doesn't like all of a sudden, I know they have been changing their products alot lately. I tried the new olay moisturinse and although it smelled lovely, it made me itch like mad!! Good thing I only bought the small bottle to try first! So I'm in desperate need to try something new and was hoping you girls could help me out, I don't really love this skin I'm in lately and its only summer so it shouldn't be this dry...I also moisturize with lubriderm after showering but I still find I'm itchin like crazy. |

Take a look at Nu Skin's Liquid Body Bar. It's really a different experience of clean, after shower, it leaves your skin hydration as you put on lotion. No itches at all. Also an aromatic grapefruit scent will all around you and the bathroom. The most important thing is Liquid Body Bar is soap-free, pH balanced formula. Take a pH test on your soap, if it is not within pH 4.5-5.5, that mean it is not good for our skin. Once a week you can apply Liquid Body Lurfa, it can exfoliate your skin very well. Take a look on these products atwww.cocogladys.mynuskin.com |

I have never been able to use Olay products. I have sensitive skin and this made it much worse.
In the shower, I love Alba Botanica Very Emollient Bath & Shower Gel. It comes in some great scents like Tuberose, Lavender, Honey Mango, etc. They also make Very Emollient Body Lotion which has a very mild scent or unscented.

You coulds also try a glycerin based soap which is less drying than most bars.
Hope this helps!! |

for my sensitive skin i use Cetaphil and Godiva Licorice Whitening Soap, and then i exfoliate every 4 days with Body Shop's Body Soya and Quinoa Oil body scrub, smells really great! I also still use St. Ives Apricot Scrub for my face. They all do the job just great! |

what about trying a gentle baby shampoo? body washes are typically harsher than shampoo, but when I am sensitive I often use a shampoo, it does just as good a job! |

Moosette-
I recommend Aveeno.. the entire line is really great. I have extremely sensitive skin, allergic to dust and I also have eczema on my legs and hands and this does the trick for me. The body washes are great.. I would look for the versions that do not have fragrance to be safe.
They can be found in any regular drugstore. HTH. |

Im a big fan of Aveeno myself! Specifically their positively radiant daily moisturizer with UVA and UVB protectants. Aside from my earlier post, Godiva and Neutrogena products also work wonders for my sensitive skin.
and ditto! As much sa possible stay clear of products with fragrance content as they can react to sunlight. |
