I actually didn't seem to have much luck with Dermalogica skincare Question so I can't really give much advice/recs , but a lot of people swear by their products. But they are definitely a company that is very generous with samples if you ask...so try & ask for samples first Wink However I prefered Decleor when I had oiler skin (in particular the ylang-ylang oil) & Dr H products which I found made my skin less oily & congested.

I have oily/combo skin aswell, and was using Dermalogica for a long time. At the time I was using it I did really like it, but since I've stopped and completely changed my regime I've realised how much better my skin looked than when just using Dermalogica. Maybe I was using the wrong products. I suppose I didn't find that it did anything amazing for me.

The products I liked best were the cream exfoliant, skin refining mask and special cleansing gel, but this can be quite drying on your skin sometimes.

You can buy the little travel sets which are good if you don't want to lay too much money out initially, and give you some sort of idea of how the products will work for you.

Dermalogica has some excellent products. I don't quite understand Ahau's rather cryptic reply and that should really come with a clarification.

I think for your skin Microfoliant would be a good choice. I had good results with the Medicated Clearing Gel for any pimples forming. Also, the Oil Control Lotion has BHA in it so should help formation of pimples. HTH

I used this line for a couple of years, and my skin was ok...Nothing amazing. Just average. I would always have a blemish or 2, but I just considered this to be normal for my age. When I switched to Decleor my skin became much more healthy. I don't think Dermalogica is a bad line though.

I do like Dermalogica, the products are very gentle and really do calm the skin.
For your skin I would suggest any of the following:

*Cleansing gel
*Oil Control Lotion
*Skin Refining Mask
*Clay Cleanser

It didn't work for me. I sampled it and my skin freaked out. I suppose it's like everything we try. Not all will work for everyone. Samples are the way to go, I think.

I use Dermalogica stuff for my body and find it very calming. Then i started trying different things samples sizes. So far, i think the eye cream is pretty good, the cleanser is decent, and the exfoliant is not bad. I guess it also depend one's age as well. I have a feeling that it's more suitable for younger skin. Wink
