Hi ladies,
I've been away from this forum for a looong while, since 2004 to be exact! it's called the Essential Day Spa black hole working in reverse !! It's fantastic to see so many new Members. Congratulations on finding EDS !!!
I was drawn to EDS like bees to honey because I located Phytomer products online, but now it's only sold within Canada. I knew that my lucky run with this line was going to dry up and come to an end, but I just wanted to say on record, you ladies who can be lucky to be called Canucks are ***VERY*** LUCKY!!! I love these products, especially in summer. I especially miss using the Face Dew Lotion, the Lift Contour Eye & Lip Gel (what a product!!), the Revitalising Mask and Extended Youth Night Cream.
I bought six products from the Phytomer line in France on a holiday in 2003 and began my desperate searh for them halfway through the jars, which led me to EDS!
Well, better start saving for my next holiday to France!
Happy days,
Summertimegirl

Hey Marina, wow did we? I've been catching up on a million or so posts and threads since I dropped off...I ad heaps of fun on here, I remember that never-ending thread all about eyes, that started with an eye cream and went on to forced eyelids and plastic surgery!! I even came back here a few times to retrieve that great seaweed dessert leiladao gave me that is good for the eyes!!
I posted this in the hope that the lovely ladies at EDS can tell me what strict laws have come into effect for PHYTOMER being sold only in Canada..... I'm persisting!!
BTW, have you found your Holy Grail product/s on EDS?
Take care

Welcome back! Great to see you on here again.
I can only assume that Phytomer is restricting online product distribution to only various geographical zones in order to keep all of their retailers happy EDS would never impose such silly rules if they didn't have to... |

Hey Mabsy, I meant to thank you for this response ages ago when I popped up back here at EDS.....a bit of a hiatus for a 'couple' of years as a lot was happening at my end. I'm glad to be back and am so stoked that you're still going strong.
Guess what??!! my sister is going back to France next week to spend Xmas with his family in Normandie and will be able to stockpile me with Phytomer products

Otherwise there are lots of online stores selling the Phytomer line. At least both medispastore and eskinstore sell it without restrictions |

Simran, I really should rename myself Phytomergirl because I was and still am a massive fan. I wrote monstrously huge scraps on here a few years ago and possibly bored people to deATH It's an incredible line of skincare now completely out of my reach as it cannot be shipped outside of Canada.
I totally could not live without the Lift Contour Replenishing Eye & Lip (I am going to get a few of this little jar), the Face Dew Lotion which faintly smells of roses and removes all residual traces of makeup debris to prep the skin for moisture...their masks are excellent, I liked the Revitalising Mask. For exfoliating, I've tried both the Peeling Vegetal Exfoliant and Purifying Gommage Exfoliant (both different, the Gommage has little blue exfoliating particals in gel that melt on contact with your skin)....for day/ night moisturisers, I've used the HydraContinue Moisture Reinforecment Cream (I have thirsty dry combo skin) and the Extended Youth Night Cream which I see has been renamed Ogenage Expert Precious Renewing Night Cream. The HydraContinue and Ogenage lines are amazing..... when I found out that I couldn't order Phytomer from EDS anymore, I must say I got a little upset and a *bit* jealous..... But as Murphy's Law would have it, it's probably not something that you ladies in Canada would look to try even though it's available there.
I was spewing (Aussie expression) that I didn't get to try the Douceur and Body Care lines. You know when something's out of reach you want it EVEN MORE !!!!!! |

I am very upset at this news! I just started using the Lift Countour Eye and Lip gel and I really like it. I would like to purchase some since all I have are samples but I live in USA. Why did Phytomer make such a decision? |

Thanks Cadia, I hadn't checked those other stores. I thought I did try to buy Phytomer from some other stores in the States but for some reason (either shipping restrictions) I gave up on my hope of ever getting this skincare line again. I buy skincare from only two online stores EDS and Strawberrynet (when I need something shipped super-quick as they're in the Asia region- HKG). If I can, I'd like to limit myself to just these two. I'm biased when it comes to service and quality, shipping etc.

i dont get it why you cant buy from EDS cause i emailed EDS last week or wast it this week anyway i was told that they will ship to NZ ...thats why i been looking into this line...
where are you from?

I know EDS are only restricting to outside Canada to keep suppliers happy. If only I didn't like Phytomer and it was just a so-so product, there'd be less trouble!
My sister is getting me the HydraContinue Comforting Toning Lotion (the aqua bottle) as well as the Face Dew so I will have both to compare. There's just a *very small* wishlist that she's lugging back. I can't wait to get my Phytomer stash again!!
Btw my skintype is normal combination, dry on the cheeks and forehead and little oily on the nose. |

i am a long term fan of Pytomer. I use their toner and eye lifting cream. The eye/contour lifting is pretty good. I use it at night time on my eyes and lip!
The Rose toner is good to my sensitive skin. But Phytomer is getting more expensive these days.... |

I discovered Phytomer products while I lived in the USA, actually. "The Salon For You" in St. Paul, MN introduced me to them, sometime before 2004. I'm back in Canada, now, and still hooked on the stuff! I use the Accept cleanser and neutralizing cream.
Unless something has changed since then, Phytomer must still be available in the US--perhaps only through select salons or spas? I hope this information helps someone out there. |

I just googled Phytomer and first page had a few sites listing all phytomer shipped 100% free to US....shipping to all 50 us states....just 2 sites I had a quick look at. I have not tried them myself, just cruising the forum and thought I might see if I could help.
Bye the way Hello to you all, pretty new here.

One site carrying phytomer and shipping to USA is beauty.com, I have always had excellent service from the site. I am leary of shopping online, however I have found sometimes it is the only way to purchase what I want or need. |
