I was wondering if you could share your opinions on MMU....
After trying quite a few, I am back on Jane Iredale because so far her's is the only line that doesnt' make me look "crepey" (sp?) under my eyes and cheeks. I have normal to dry skin - not oily at all!
But here's what happened - I do local theatre and have been using Jane for the show - well after being under the hot lights, let me tell you my non-oily face is like an oil slick, and for someone who never broke out, I am getting all sorts of little buddies on my face!!! Last night when I got home, I had a BIG pimple on my forehead which at this point should get some kind of billing in the play! Even when I'm not on stage, I notice that Jane breaks me out even though her coverage is so nice and soft and goes on nice and creamy.
For a couple of nights I tried Monave, and although I didn't get the oilies -- at all actually, my face got soooooo bloody dry!!! Lines and wrinkles showed up everywhere!
So I've just sent away for samples from Geographx and Cory. Do any of you use and love these lines - and are they good for dry skin but don't make you break out? I know all about the bismouth in Jane, and know that these two don't have it, but wanted to hear any thoughts.
One last thing - I think this is somewhere else on a forum but I couldn't find it - what can I do to stop the nasty white waxy line that forms between my lips when using glosses or lipsticks? Why do I get that? I've tried exfoliating it with a line from Garden Botanika, I've tried using a vitamin e stick before applying gloss, I've tried brushing with a toothbrush to get excess "stuff" off....any other suggestions???? Could it just be the gloss itself???? Am i just destined to be waxy lips woman? Thanks for any advice and for listening to me rant...
