Hi Ladies-I just started using the AlphaDerma CE Anti-Aging System
The system includes:
(1) 4oz Cleansing Milk
(1) 4oz Skin Toner
(1) 4oz Facial Skin Prep
(1) 4oz AlphaDerma CE
(1) 1oz OkuSil
(1) 1/2oz Vitamin C&C Facial Serum
I have been using this morning and night w/out any other products.
Should I add a moisturizer to this system? I spoke with customer service and they said the alpha derma also serves as a moisturizer? Also-in what order should I add the vitamin C serum? Do you apply vit c to the whole face? Directions are not clear.
TIA for your feedback! |

I have been using the JB products for years now and my morning routine is like this:
Cleanser (I do not use the JB cleanser so any cleanser would be fine)
Toner (I do not use any toner, but this would be your step #2)
Vitamin C serum (wait about 10 minutes after applying Vit C before layering another product)
JB Prep, let dry and immediately follow with Okusil under eyes and ADCE over entire face.
I think you will find that you do not require an additional moisturizer as ADCE is quite hydrating. I do add an additional eye cream only.
Good luck JB makes great products that give very nice results (But be patient it does take a little time). I use to use the routine twice a day AM & PM but a few months ago I switched to a copper peptide program for evenings. |

Ah cool, I'm following this topic too now, as I have one of those freebie 5-day samplers and I've never used their products before. Thanks for the detailed info! |

So you people are using three layers of JB, post cleanse + tone.
I see one can buy just the okusil and the ADCE as a kit.
What do you think are the specific advantages of the prep, and does the C&C just boost the effect? |

Fairlady, you mentioned it "takes a little time" and to "be patient". How long till you noticed results? I have been using them for a month and do not notice a difference yet. Thanks.

Hi ladies, I started using this in March and began to notice shallow creases in my neck and on forehead became a lot less noticable after 4-6 weeks. The skinprep and AlphaDermaCE is a permanent part of my routine now.
For those of you with drier skin, you may benefit from an additional moisturizer. What I like about it is that with my oily skin, it doesn't add too much moisture I don't need and doesn't clog pores while working its magic.
The skinprep seems to act as a booster; at least for me, it seemed to increase the effectiveness of alphadermaCE.
I didn't really care for the Okusil, didn't seem to be quite hydrating enough around my eyes. Nor did I care for the C&C serum, too thick and gloppy for my tastes. But I LOVE their toner! Smells yummy and is especially soothing after pumpkin peel.
HTH!

Gail - It takes time for the skin care products to make a difference. I honestly did not begin to see any really noticeable results until after maybe 6-8 weeks of regular use. Everyone is different and I am sure you will find others that say they got immediate results or perhaps no results at all...every one's skin will react differently. When I did begin to notice results it was a subtle yet measurable improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. Very fine lines were greatly reduced, skin was much smoother to the touch, and my complexion began to have a much brighter, more youthful glow to it. I really like this product and have continued to regularly use it for over 4 years now. JB claims ADCE can diminish stretch marks and scars, firm sagging skin, and reverse fine lines. Personally, I feel that is a wee-bit of a stretch in relation to what the product can actually do. Pros: It is a product that actually does improve your skin, it contains Argireline which is proven to relax facial wrinkles and reduce existing wrinkles and impede their future progression. It contains a sunblock of SPF 15 which eliminates the need to layer additional sunscreen in most circumstances, a very little drop (1 pump) will do your entire face so the product, although expensive does last for about 6 months. Con's: The only negative I see is that the company claims and the consumer reviews are often 'over the top' giving an unrealistic expectation to a new user, also it is a fairly expensive product for an initial purchase.
I will continue to purchase the JB Prep & ADCE, but did not care for the organic cleanser, or Okusil...just did nothing for me. I do use Vitamin C serum but not from JB.
Hope this helps |

You're welcome Liv! I use squalene around my eyes; once it penetrates, I follow up with Murad essential C. |

Thank you Fairlady! I will stick with it. I usually try to give a product at least 3 months before I decide on it's effectiveness.
