Based on what you've described, I will advise the following products for your consideration.
Cleansers
Anthony Logistics Algae Facial Cleanser, PSF Gentle Cleansing Castile, B Kamins Vegetable Skin Cleanser, or Dr Hauschka Cleansing Milk.
Moisturizers
Decleor Aromessence Balm for Men, Decleor Keep Comfort Calming Nourishing Cream, Dermalogica Barrier, Remergent Barrier Repair Formula, L'Occitane 24 Hours Ultra Rich Face Cream, Obagi Nu-Derm Action, Eminence Seven Herb Treatment, or Thalgo Extreme Comfort Cream. |

Hi AdamKlang
It sounds like you first need to be very gentle with your skin. Dr. Hauschka is a gentle, pure line of skin care I think would be nice for your irritated skin:
Cleansing Milk
Moisturizing Day Cream
You also need to use a good suncreen daily. I can highly recommend:
Pure Skin Formulations SPF of 30 or 50.
I see you are 16. If you find these products expensive I believe Avene is an excellent line for sensitive, stressed skin.
Sensitive Skin Tips:
Keep skin hydrated. Drink plenty of water and hydrate your skin in fragrance-free moisturizers made for sensitive skin.
Avoid artificial heat and air conditioning. This can irritate and dry the skin. Humidifiers can help to add some moisture back into the air.
Limit exfoliation and harsh scrubbing of the skin. This can take away the lipid barrier which protects your skin from bacteria.
Beware of perfumes and scented lotions. These can cause redness and allergic reactions.
Use a daily sunblock. Even if your skin doesn't burn, prolonged exposure in the sun can cause cell damage and increase sensitivity of the skin.
Cleanse your skin after perspiration. Even your own sweat can cause a negative reaction on ultra-sensitive skin.
Use products with soothing ingredients. Chamomile, Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Oats, and Grape Seed can calm skin irritation.
Our forum members will have a lot of good advice for you. It will all work out.
By the time I finished this post I noticed CasperMum has some suggestions. She should know as she works with these products daily. |

I noticed you mentioned your skin gets red, I found that using Pure Skin Formulations O2 rescue serum really helped with the redness on my skin especially when it was was red because of dryness and sensitivity. |

L'Occtaine do a great natural range for all skin ages and types, at such a young age you just need some gentle product and unfortunately a lot of products claim to be natural but that is not so. Le Roche Posay is also inexpensive and gentle |

I also have very thin, sensitive, reactive dry skin, but it's due to all the whitening products I used when I was in my teen. I find Decleor way too harsh on my skin and it irritates it badly. Honestly, I do think Decleor products to be the worst thing I've ever put on my skin. Dr. Hauschka cleanser doesn't work too well on me either. It really dries out and irritates my skin. My skin has calmed down significantly, but on bad days, it really acts up and there are only 3 products I can use which are Yon-Ka Cleansing Milk, Yon-Ka Serum and Valmont Nature Moisturizing with a Mask. Try to stay away from any actives (AHA, BHA, and the lot) and exfoliation (manual and chemical). I find the using a muslin cloth to very gently exfoliate works best although do not do it every day. Hope that helps. |
