I've been reading here about all the awesome new ionic hair dryers and wondering if it's time to retire my old Sharper Image ionic dryer. It was probably one of the first on the market and is so old I can't even find the model # online. I don't have a clue what's inside that creates negative ions, so I'm wondering if, at a certain age, it becomes less effective. It still dries my hair just fine, but how does one know if it's just blowing hot air?? |

Sorry for the so late reply. Wonder if you ended up getting a newer ionic hairdryer?
I don't think an ionic hairdryer will lose it's "pizzazz". But I do think the new tourmaline ionic ones are stronger - especially the Pro models like Babyliss and T3.
I've had a consumer Vidal Sassoon ionic hair dryer and am thinking about bumping up to a Pro ionic hairdryer. I have very thick hair it takes quite a while to dry it (I usually don't dry it completely because of this).
I've heard people who've bumped up to Pro from consumer models comment that there is a big difference.
Anybody else with experience care to comment???? |
