Has anybody tried it (Or any foundations/powders/lippies from that line)? I'm just now finding myself with my own personal Mary Kay assistant, and she recommends Timewise for those tiny bumps. I'm not sure I'm willing to go out on the limb until I've heard some reviews by people not trying to sell it to me. Laughing So... have you?

I love the cleanser that comes with TimeWise, The moisturizer is OK. As far as the TimeWise day and night solution I don't care for them at all. My sister-in-law sells Mary Kay. I just had to come out and tell her.

First of all what I don't like about this expensive product is they do not list ingredients. It did nothing for my skin. If you really want to try it you can get it on Ebay cheap.

MaryKay has only one product that I think is their best: Satin Hands. Otherwise they are totally over priced for what you get. The consultants make 50% off the sale and of course the company most likely makes 25% more.

If you decide to buy it from your consultant I do know that MaryKay has 100% return policy if you don't like it (That is what my sister-in-law told me).

This is just my opinion.

Hello ( : I have tried pretty much everything from the Timewise line and alot of Mary Kay products, and I didn't care for the cleanser or cleansing bar soap. Both were too drying/irritating for my skin (oily, acne-prone, sensitive). I did like the Day solution during the winter when my skin was more dry, but way too oily for summer/spring. The Night Solution always irritated me (AHAs in it) whenever I used it, but they have since reformulated it (removed AHAs, added peptides, I think). I have been trying to use the refomulated version every other night for the past week. So far no irritation, but no real results either yet. The moisturizer is okay during the winter, but sometimes too emollient for me. I like some Mary Kay eyeshadows and the full-coverage foundation, but I do not care for the lipsticks (turn orange on me), blushes (difficult for me to blend), or eyeliners (waterproof, so hard to blend/not soft enough for me). The Timewise eyecream is supposed to be really good (per reviews at makeupalley), but I haven't tried it. Oh, I do like the lipglosses that I have tried. Satin Hands is good, too. Like Winnie mentioned, the products are 100% guaranteed with no time limit. Do not hesitate to return something if it doesn't work for you, and try not to be talked into buying anything more than what you want/need. Ask for samples of whatever you are interested in trying too if you choose the option of going through a consultant. HTH.

Thanks for your replies. Smile I got my sample of the timewise cleanser in the mail-- my consultant claims it will help me to rid myself of the tiny little pimples under the skin-- and tried it. It feels really nice going on, but I don't know if it will treat my acne long term. Rolling Eyes I suppose I'll check out ebay and see if they have it for cheap (my goodness it costs a lot to get good skin care these days! Confused )

Good luck with it Smile It is an exfoliating cleanser (granular beads) and is clay-based, so it may help with the bumps. I don't think that it has any acne-fighters in it, but the exfoliating and clay may help. I think that it has retinol in it, too, but I don't know for sure.

Does anyone know why MaryKay does not list ingredients? Perhaps a consultant will read this post and explain. I think we live in a time that woman want to know what they are putting on their skin. We are educated now about product like never before.

Hi, Winnie.
Sometimes, the ingredients are on the product boxes, but not on the product containers. I don't know why some companys do it that way. With anything that I buy, the box is long gone before the product is. I have a Dermadoctor product where the ingredients aren't on the bottle; I saved the box just in case I should ever wonder if some specific ingredient is or isn't in there. It is a hassle. Unfortunately, I didn't catch on to doing that until recently, so I don't know what ingredients are in some of my products. Maybe there are just too many ingredients to list on such small bottles. In any case, the information should be available online. I never checked for Mary Kay ingredients online though, so I don't know if the lists are available. I agree; we should know what is in a product. I'd rather count on the fact that certain effective ingredients are in there rather than going on blind faith that a product will do what it promises.

Thanks for the replies all. (o; I'm sort of regretting having an assistant-- I feel sort of guilty not buying anything at the moment, and she keeps emailing me about purchasing stuff, but I don't want to be rude. I have zero backbone, I suppose. Embarassed Thanks again!
