I need to reorder my mascara, but have a few concerns. As I recall, the regular Kiss Me, clumped quite a bit when new (mine is over a year old...bad me). Anyone tried the Ultra Volume version? I've read some on the newer "fiber" mascara's, but not sure how they compare either. I've not found another mascara to compare to Blincs (re:panda eyes), but at the price I wouldn't might trying something different.

I had the same problem with the Blinc Kiss Me mascara....not impressed at all. Haven't tried the Ultra Volume...I'm also curious as to what others have found.

I tried the ultra volume once and found it was clumpier than the regular and I got some 'panda eyes'. I love the regular version; all other mascaras give me panda eyes Neutral

I have to disagree, Kiss Me is the only mascara I've found that doesn't flake off and create the "panda eyes" look. If it does come off, it'll be in one of those little tubes, and only because I rubbed at it. Have you tried only doing one coat very slowly wiggling the brush at the base and pulling up? I find the more coats I put on, the less it adheres, but if I do one good coat it'll stay on better.

I agree, it is the only mascara that stays put when it's supposed to, yet washes off easily when I want it to! I also use the one good coat technique, and find that's all I need.

I agree. I think it's the impulse to suddenly add another coat later that causes the panda eyes. If you just commit to your one coat, it works well.

The secret is putting on a nice thick coat within 2 minutes. Once the formula dries, you shouldn't attempt to apply more coats. This is a very different mascara but once you get the hang of it, it's far superior than any other. I've NEVER experienced clumping or smearing and I've used this for about 13 years. Tried the ultra volume one once and didn't like it. I found it rather clumpy and flaky. Didn't care for the eyeliner either.

Thanks for the tip on the ultra volume line...I am in the market for a new tube (of tubes!) and I'll steer clear.

I ordered my new Blinc from EDS (quick delivery too), I got the dark-brown shade. I don't like the black on me, (I'm older w/short brown hair, currently frosted). The new product did NOT clump, even with the first application. New packaging, better product, glad I stayed with the Blinc brand. I've never gotten PANDA eyes with Blinc. Definitely worth the money & w/our discount, EDS was the least expensive.

Yeah, the new packaging is a lot better....longer, thicker brush. You get more product for the same price too.

Wow, now I really have to order more. How long does a tube usually last? I've been using mine pretty much every day for 3 months...should it be gone soon?

I find a tube lasts me about 2 1/2 - 3 months. I use it everyday too. You'll notice the product starts to dry up when it needs replacing. The more it's exposed to air, the faster it'll age.

I tried and like them both. Ultra Volume version is a bit heavier. As previous poster said the trick is to apply it quickly and separate the lashes before mascara dries.

I have used both, the Kiss Me and Ultra Volume.

Kiss Me is a much better product, it lengthens and volumizes quite dramatically. (maybe because I have short lashes to start with?) It stays put ALL day and night long until I remove it, no smearing or smudging whatsoever, very impressive. If you follow the instructions (wait 30 seconds before each extra coat), you should be able to add a second or thrid coat without any problems like I did. But I noticed that the more coats you put on, the less natural looking your lashes would be, so I guess that if you want to go for the natural look, the more is less. In general, I am very impressed with Kiss Me.

The only problem with Kiss Me is that it doesn't curl. I use Talika to curl my lashes first, it's a heated battery operated eye lash curler, very easy to use (only 30 seconds to curl mine), and it gives good results when used in conjunction with Kiss Me. My lashes literally stay curled as long as I want. Smile

As for Ultra Volume, well...I was disappointed to be honest. I agree it's a bit flaky, it's not half as good as Kiss Me. I followed the instructions and kept on adding extra coats vigorously before they dried, but only having clumped lashes!! Sad

I am also using Lash Primer from Blinc, but I usually use it alone as a conditioner on a lazy day. If I use it with Kiss Me, my lashes feel heavy. But Lash Primer is not available at EDS, damn!! Mad

Best mascara I've found is Two faced lash injection, I've recently run out and am now using kiss me, but compared to two faced mascara its nothing. Also I have very oily skin and I'm extremely prone to the panda eye look. So I 100% think you should give twofaced a go. You can buy it here at EDS and I'm buying two with my next order! I love it!

I LOVE Kiss Me Ultra Volume mascara!!! Thanks EDS for carrying it! The first coat I put on didn't seem any different from any other mascara and then I applied a 2nd coat - WOW!!! Long, thick lashes and I really love the way it doesn't smudge at all. The next day I went for 3 coats and couldn't believe it - looked like I was wearing false eyelashes they were so long and thick. I stick to two coats for every day wear but for a special evening, I'm going for 3 coats again. It's so different from any other mascara I've ever used. Who would have thought of tubes?? What a wonderful idea. Washes off beautifully too. I think the trick with it is to apply a coat to one eye and then go do the other eye. By the time you're done with that, it's the perfect time to go back and start your 2nd coat. LOVE IT!!

Hi NCN Smile

So glad you are enjoying Kiss Me! I the regular formula in plum (purple). It gives my green eyes a little pop. The Ultra Volume is getting mixed reviews. Next EDS order I will give it a try.

Hi Winnie! Ooohhhh.. I'm going to have to go shopping again and see what other colors I can get it in. Maybe I'll try the regular formula too but I couldn't resist the "ultra" word Laughing Remember Fabulash? It reminds me of that as far as the long and thick lashes you get but Kiss Me is about 1,000 times better. I really believe the lash building is all in the timing. I've got it down pat! When my sister Cara saw me, she asked what I was wearing. That's how much of a difference it makes - a noticeable one. Perfect! I'm hooked!!

I have oily skin and this mascara hasn't caused any racoon eyes for me. It's easy to take off too, which I think is a plus to maintain healthy eyelashes. The only downside is that it isn't very volumizing. Maybe I'll try the ultra volume one next time.

I recently purchased Kiss Me Ultra Volume in black. It is nice enough but I prefer the regular formula in purple. The Ultra is a tad too heavy for me. Kiss Me mascara is a stable in my makeup bag.

I love the kiss me mascara. It's definately good for daily use. For special occasions I would use things like Diorshow or too faced lash injection.
