I have been slowly becoming addicted to this website, and after plucking up the courage to submit a question earlier this week about brush care, I was amazed and delighted to find that this is the quickest and easiest way to get excellent advise on my beauty/cosmetics concerns.
Forget trying to get advice direct from the manufacturers - they take weeks to get back, if they bother at all.
You lot are brilliant Very Happy .
So here is my latest dilema.
I have been using Darphin products for the last 5 years, as my main concern over the years has been redness and their Intral range really did help with this.
I have recently changed to Decleor (due to my * spam alert * to this website and their great offers). I am now using the Aroma Rose and the Harmonie stuff which is really nice, but I have noticed over the last few months that I am starting to get the first significant signs of wrinkles and I am in a bit of a panic over it, to say the least Sad .
Can anyone recommend products to combat both redness (as this is still a concern) and wrinkles. I would like to continue with Decleor for the time being, and love the day time Aroma Rose and Harmonie emulsion. Maybe I could combine this with and anti-wrinkle treatment in the evening Question
Thanks for any advice.

Sorry Heidi, I have no advice - just the same problem! Sad
I have a couple of lines that are starting to worry me. I have a "frown line" between my brows & a couple of horizontal ones on my forehead.
I currently use MD morning & night - VitA + stuff at night. I do like the range. My skin has cleared up & no new problems have reared their ugly heads since using it. Smile
I too would like to know if there is any "magic" product I can start using NOW to combat these visible ones & to stop/slow more from forming in time to come.
I never know what to believe/buy with regards to anti-ageing creams as most of the products for already visible lines are supposedly for 35-40+ age group. Confused I may feel this old sometimes, but alas am only 26!

Relaxaline is like botox in a liquid form it has helped my wrinkles especially forehead and crows feet. I honestly believe if I had known about it when my wrinkles first started they would never have become a problem. Read the thread about relaxaline and avatox and see for yourself. Everybody really rates it highly. Very Happy

Try their Iris Night Balm, I got it for my mom and she is in love with it.

I guess first thing that you need to make sure is that the lines are not just simply dehyration lines. Are the products you are using moisturising enough for your skin and are you drinking enough water to hydrate your skin from within?

I would suggest starting to use a vitamin C serum and also using sunblock everyday.

Btw, where are the wrinkles appearing? Relaxaline, the product that Loopy wrote about, does get good reviews here. I haven't tried it myself but my mum is using a sample (or I think she is, I gave it to her a week ago...) But I think, by nature of its main ingredient, it helps temporarily and only for wrinkles that are caused by repetitive muscle movements, e.g. between your brows. If this is the case for you then I would suggest you get a sample but still use a vit C serum (Relaxaline goes over the top of the vit C serum if you use both).

I'm new to the board and just getting use to it. Actually I just got a computer recently. But I've noticed everyone talks about products but doesn't necessarily tell you where to find them....Relaxaline sounds interesting to me. I'm looking for something to help fight off father time...I don't plan on aging gracefully. Any help would be appreciated.

welcome Heidi, we're sort of neighbours, in big worldwide sense anyway(I'm from Stoke)

I would agree with Mabsy, I'm certainly not using the same products as I was 5 years ago, sorry I can't advise products as we have different skin concerns (but I'm a Yonka fan if you like aroma/essential oil based products)

Hope you find something that works for you.

I dont believe there is a skincare product that prevents wrinkles - as others have said sunscreen is probably best! I would recommend trilogy rosehip oil - it is a fantastic treatment and the EFA help. I use it morning and night and on the backs of my hands as a preventative.

My first advice would be to drink water!!! It really does make a big difference in your skin. Exercise and eating right are important also. I agree that you should use a good C product and SUNSCREEN.

As far as those first signs of wrinkles: Start looking at children when they smile. They have all those expression lines that so many are getting Botox for.

Believe me I am not saying I don't want to look younger. I am 59 and currently using an antiaging product to help me have a more youthful look.

For you ladies who could be my daughters: live healthy, use a good skincare line for you age and skin type. ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN and keep smiling!!!!

I'm 41 this year. Started to get the smile lines around my mouth and the crows feet. I started using Sanitas' Peptiderm in May. Even my mom who hadn't seen me in six months noticed a differnce. When she got off the plane the first thing she asked was if I had done Botox.
