Ok, everyone has been talking about how great the latest issue of Allure is, but man, I just got the latest Glamour and the skin cancer article in it blew me away!! The article featured many different, detailed pictures of all the different types of skin cancers, plus pictures of various healthy moles and moles to watch. Not only that, there was a really heart-breaking article about a girl around my age who died recently because of skin cancer, and the skin cancer was on her scalp!!! Reading that article made me and DH decide to get our hands on some serious hats ASAP! Needless to say, even if you gals don't usually read Glamour, this issue is worth it for the skin cancer article alone. |

I don't usually read Glamour either, unless my roommate lends it to me But I love Allure! I have only recently begun to appreciate their scientific take on beauty products... not like Cosmopolitan, which I feel I could write for! |

I don't have both of the magazines but I do agree with you about skin cancer. Unfortunately, my father had skin cancer that was not noticed and spread to his lungs, then his small intestine.
Please use sunblock daily. |

Somehow I am getting glamour in the mail ( I didnt subscribe to it) - and I read that article on skin cancer.... Scary stuff. I think that everyone should do an annual check with dermatologist, t make sure your moles are normal. that includes not only scalp, but private areas as well.. |

I have so many moles that I'm constantly watching and wondering if they look normal or not. Sounds like this article might be just what I need, especially if there's lots of pictures. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 24 (she was 50) so I've become such a hypochondriac. It's a horrible way to go. Who's on the cover, so I know that I'm buying the right one? |

Thank you, my dad is okay now. This happened two years ago (it was really a difficult time for me)and finally he listens to me when it comes to sunblock. The only sad thing is that he applies it only in the summer, not year round. |
