Hi~ I feel your pain. I have never really had a problem with acne before, not even in my teen years..sure one here or there..but then I broke out in this awful "RASH", more like bumps under the skin, in every pore on my forehead (started on my forehead). I went to the derm who told me I had Rosecea. Which I don't buy. Now I do notice whiteheads, but moreso I find lumps forming that are red under the skin. They sort of start out flesh color and then throughout the day they get red. The sort of hurt if I press on them, but they never develop a head or even look like anything I have ever had. They are not cystic acne, becaue I know those babies. I just got back from the dr, because along with the skin issue (which is everywhere on my face now),. I have had other symptoms. My dr. is running a whole panel of blood work. She said that skin conditions out of the blue have a lot to do with something internal going on. Do you have any other symptoms? Is your skin problem all of a sudden?

I envy who go to the derm and they help solve your skin problems and get you on the road to recovery of nice skin. I will tell you, that people who see my skin always wonder why I complain, but my skin is worse than it ever has been and I feel like I have to hide through makeup, low light or hide behind my hair most days. I have seen three derms who never once help me EVER. Sure they give me crud, potion, lotions ect but nothing helps, sometimes make it worse. So I am not a big believer in going to see the derm. I feel like I get more help here in self diagnosis, then seeing a derm who tells me, yeah, people suffer from pimples and acne, get use to it. Something is causing these lumps and breakouts, and you can not tell me that we can put man on the moon, but we can not solve skin issues. We can get people cured from major ailment's, but can not cure skin breakouts. I don't by it. I think Derms enjoy the money they make from all the treatments we have to pay for. That is the very reason they do not care that we are suffering and hiding and not living life, because we have no self confidence when it comes to our skin. How can some people have the most glowing skin, no pimples ever, and those people never take care of their skin the way some of us do, but never have to worry about it. What is those people's chemical makeup. Duplicate it in me please! (thanks for listening to my rant!) Confused

I also always ask why some people who never care for their skin but still own a beautiful skin while no matter how much effort i paid, a lot of skin problems still here! i know i better to accept it rather than blame anything but sometimes i still can't come up with these.yestersday my partner was fired just because of her employer feeling uncomfortable with her severe breakout without wearing a mask!!

My boyfriend had acne problems too. After using Obagi (with retin-A), he is much better now.
