Egad! It seems we just can't win. Bottled water is good... Woops, bottled water is really bad! Vitamins are good for you... Woops, vitamins are toxic! Sunscreen is good for you... Woops, sunscreen will kill ya! The list could go on and on. I give up.

Yeah and "Stay out of the sun!" v. "Need some sun for VitD synthesis! Maybe we should live in caves except for our 20 min sunbath and eat lichen!  |

Seriously, this is why I can't get on board of ANY health or nutrition trend until I see a lot of time and research go by. I think we as a society have gotten to the point where we overanalyze EVERYTHING in search of these elusive answers, and sometimes you just have to drink your friggin water and occasionally go in the sun and trust that the whole world won't come crashing down. (That said, I'm one of the most compulsive sunscreen freaks out there as far as which ingredient, which formulation, how much you put it on, etc. etc... so what do I know!  ) |
