I need help with finding someone who can cut very baby fine hair. My stylist has left the area and my last two cuts were disasterous. I've asked around but my friends have much more wirey hair and I need someone who knows how to cut baby fine.
HELP please. |

sharky I don't live in the area to recommend anyone. I do feel for you. How do you wear your hair? For the past few years my hairdresser told me my hair was much to fine to let grow. To make a long story short I let it grow out for 8 months. Just over a week ago I went to have it styled as it looked stringy. Now I am wearing it in a chin length bob. My hairdresser was wrong. This style makes my hair look fuller and is flattering. Be gone to all those layers. |

Thanks Winnie right now my hair is pretty long and staight no bangs. It is only like this because I have been afraid to get it cut (last time was in September when I took dd for a school haircut). I've had such bad experiences that I'm scissor shy. |

I have a fabulous hairdresser in CT, but she's quite a distance from NYC. Where are you? |

I have a great stylist in Brooklyn, although she can be expensive depending on what you want done. Feel free to PM me. |

Chimera,
can you, possibly send me her name as well?
I am also on lookout for a good hairdresser.
I have very wavy hair with some thinning on top, but not yet noticeable, but my hair could be great if the master is great, or a complete disaster if he/she is not that good.
Thanks in advance,
Lucy. |
