Has anyone had success in reducing wrinkles on the eyelid? I've done some searching on the board and I am not really looking for an eye cream, I want to get rid of these wrinkles not just temporary, you know what I mean? I have not worn eye shadow or liner in probably a year because it just accentuates the wrinkles and I cant even get the liner straight due to wrinkles close to my lash line. I dont know where these wrinkles came from since I dont really have any other serious wrinkles.
I do use tazorac for acne but also use under my eyes and on the sides, that seems to work well. I'm thinking about using it on my lids also but am not sure if lids can take it. Anyone use retin-a or taz on the lids? Or maybe I should use renova for the lids? thoughts?
Has anyone ever had a peel on the lids? I was reading on a PS site where they did TCA around the entire eye area. I've also read about thermage on the lids. Not really crazy about the thermage idea, since I've read so many mixed results on it. |

GirlieGirl, when you say "wrinkles", are they actually wrinkles or are they tiny folds? creepiness? I am having a hard time trying to picture it. |

GirlieGirl - since you are not interested in topicals, you might want to look into:
1. Refirme skin tightening - http://refirme.com/wrinkle-faq/ It is radio frequency, but more precise then others, goes just a couple of mm deep into skin.
2 Upper lid breph - surgical solution supposedly low downtime. There was a thread recently on EDS on this procedure
3. If there is some way of lifting a forehead it automatically lifts eye brows and eye lids, thus reducing lid wrinkles. Maybe facial exercises to tone all over, but it would take time to see the results. |

They are deep wrinkles close to my lash line. |

Thanks GG, I think I understand now. Elizabeth Grant has an eye cream called "Eyelid Restore" or something like that which seems to get consistently good reviews. |

I use generic retin a cream(1%)on my lids. I use taz on the rest of my face. It really helped the crepe-iness on my upper lids. It took about 3 months to see results and my eyes looked worse before they got better. To maintain results, I use it on my lids 2x per week. Anymore than that and my eyelids become sensitive. |
