I just bought Rose Mesquita (sp?) for using around my eyes to reduce fine lines. The bottle says to use it diluted with jojoba etc. but I was under the impression that I could use it straight.

For those who enjoy it, how are you using it? I already use a rosewater toner, so I was planning on spreading it over my skin with the help of that.

You can actually use it both ways. A little bit of Rosehip Oil goes a long way so if Jojoba oil is also suited to your skin type than you can mix in a few drops of Rosehip and still get the benefits.

I use mine straight and it's just fine...not too heavy for my skin.

Mine says you can mix it with cream or apply it neat to scarring.

Also I only started using mine 2 days ago but I'm sure I've seen a difference to the broken capillaries around my nose already?! Today I didn't need to use any concealer, just my foundation. Fingers crossed it does work as I'm really fed up having them!

Salli just a thought but doesn't mixing something from a plant and that's organic (Rosehip oil) with animal fat (emu oil)defeat the object or are you using Rosehip oil because it's supposed to be good for your skin rather than because it's organic?

I mix them because they all work a little differently and address somewhat different issues. It makes my life a little more simple.

I hear this is one of the few ones you can use it right on the skin. I do underneath the eyes.

You can probably do either or. It's so moisturizing in itelf I use it alone. Come to think of it, it may be better to use this before th eye cream.

I use mine straight, or sometimes mixed with emu oil and ha. I like the rosehip oil. I think that is something I will repurchase. I'm not sure if I want to ever go back to just creams for moisturizing.

Is rosehip seed oil different from just rosehip oil? I asked at the health food store and one SA said yes, another said no. Confused

they are expensive, saffronrouge sells it for 23 dollars. Do you know any where to buy a cheaper non diluted one ? I saw it was sold in wholefood, but it's combined with jojoba.
Is Kosmea brand good? where can I get it?
If you know any, please tell us.

I saw some in Whole Foods by the NOW brand. It was located with the esssential oils and if I remember correctly it was about $10 for 1 oz.

I use the kosmea brand, and I think its good, but then again, I haven't tried any others. I ordered mine online, but can't remember where. You can google it though and it should come up with something. I think its more then 23 dollars though....26 dollars or something like that comes to mind, before shipping.

I have been using it just on its own, but the texture was way too thick & rich for my skin & I ended up getting horrible breakouts. Crying or Very sad

Can someone tell me what the Kosmea bottle is like - does it come with an eye dropper? For the price it's sold at, I hope so. I'm enjoying my Caudalie Moisturizing Concentrate I bought at Sephora (it has an eye dropper...).
