Has anyone tried this local Seattle mineral makeup? I've heard lots of raves about their foundation mineral powder. |

I tried Alima when they first opened. I felt the coverage was way too sheer for me. I don't know if they have made any changes to the formula since the original though. |

I currently use Alima's foundation, blush and concealor powders. I ordered over 10 different shades over the past 2 years, but never really found the one that was a perfect match so I blend.
I was a very loyal to BE prior to this and loved their coverage, but hated the shine. Alima's foundation is not at all shiny, but the covrage is less opaque than BE.
I still love Alima, but think their product would be vastly improved if it was more micronized like the Amazing Cosmetics line of loose foundation, and if the colours were more natural. |
