Hey guys, is anyone else usingwww.goodsearch.com or its sister sitewww.goodshop.com ? Goodsearch is a search engine that's powered by Yahoo, so it's pretty much just a normal search engine except for every time you do do a search advertisers donate AT LEAST 1 cent to the charity of your choice. Since I know we pretty much do searches all day, that adds up in a hurry. It adds up even faster if you also use goodshop. How goodshop works is before you use the click-through links they provide to get to the shop of your choice (they have a lot of heavy-hitters such as Amazon, half.com, ebay, etc), and then a certain percentage of whatever you spend goes straight to the charity of your choice. Seriously ladies, we are going to browse and shop anyway, why not help charities while we are at it? The ASPCA has already received $18,000 through this program which is AMAZING!
On a somewhat related note, if you are having trouble deciding on a charity, I would consider it a personal favor if you would browse or shop on behalf of "Bunny Lu adoptions." You can see the good work they do atwww.bunnylu.org . They are a no-kill bunny rescue group and they work so hard to make sure that discarded bunnies like my own sweet Forest find good homes. I don't have any connection to them--- I just appreciate the good work that they do. Unfortunately they aren't well known, and according to goodsearch they have only netted a total donation of 50 cents so far which makes me a little sad, so if you don't have any other charity in mind and you wouldn't mind helping me give these good people a boost, I would be eternally grateful. Please pass the word along about these sites too---- this is such an easy way to make a big difference in the world! |

Wow, you ladies are amazing! In just the last few days Bunny Lu's donation has spiked to over $2---- to say nothing of all the other amazing charities which I'm sure have benefitted. Thanks for caring ladies and keep up the great work!! |
