A small white bump appeared on my face about two months ago. I thought it was a pimple at first. When it did not go away I tried to pop it, but that did nothing. It is round and circular and does not hurt at all. I would characterize it as a small white mole. It has not changed in shape or size. Does anyone know what it might be? |

...you sure its not a whitehead? My mom used to get some pretty big ones. |

Positive. I have given it a pretty good squeeze and nothing. It also does not have the same characteristics. It looks just like one though (which is why it bothers me). |

I'm not sure what it actually is but there is still a pretty good chance that it is a whitehead. Whiteheads are sometimes impossible to squeeze out without pre-treating them first. The sebum hardens underneath the skin and there is no opening big enough for it to get out. I would probably spot-treat with a product that has a combo of salicylic acid and glycolic acid, although you might need to do that for a while to get it to soften up. After than you should be able to squeeze it out.
It's also possible that it is just a little cyst. I get these behind the ear or on my neck sometimes and they eventually go away. My Dr had a look at one I had a while ago and said that it was normal to get them and that I shouldn't play with it (my bad!) as it makes it bigger. |

Ya see, oligander, these folks really know their stuff. I'd definitely give Mabsy's suggestion a try. I didn't think whiteheads were so easily "popped." |

Those little bumps under your eyes might be millia. You tend to get them when using creams that are too rich for your eye area (though there may be other reasons too). There has been a few different posts about millia and how to get rid of it. Just do a search for 'millia' and you should find plenty of suggestions.
