Yeah I noticed that too! I agree that Avene has some list-worthy items, but most of what I've tried of Chanel has been over-fragranced and over-priced - a lot of pretty packaging and not much active ingredients!

| I don't agree about a single winner on this list. Chanel, Dior, and Clarins products are way too perfumed for me, and I can think of numerous better products in every category. |

The Chanel Mascara that's rated the best one isn't that great unless you use a good mascara primer beforehand because it's wet and weighs down the lashes (curl disappears). 
I prefer no primer since it simplifies my routine. |
