This is a review of the basic non-glycolic MD cleanser.
Not sure why I didn't try this out earlier. I received a bottle of this cleanser as part of my Bare Escentuals kit. After trying it once, and finding the texture to be similar to Cetaphil, I shrugged and put it away.
About a week ago, I started using it consistently. I've noticed further improvement to my skin - the colour seems much more even, my crater-like pores seem more refined, less congested, and I haven't had any breakouts on my face.
Although its a non-glycolic cleanser, there definitely seems to be some sort of exfoliating action on my skin. My face is very slightly flaky, but never tight or irritated. This is taken care of with a gentle scrub & moisturizer.
I have to say I'm quite surprised by the results of regular use as I had no expectations. The ingredients on the label appear to be standard (nothing unusual or miraculous). I would consider purchasing this again, but would probably steer clear of the glycolic products for fear of skin irritation .
Anyone else had any experience with this line? |

I've had really good results with the MDF range and I have mainly used their glycolic products. I didn't have any problems with skin sensitivity but then again my skin is not sensitive in general.
If found I had very similar results to yours. Reduction in those little annoying bumps under the skin and also less breakouts. |

I use some md formulation products and some md forte. I must say that I have never had a problem with glycolics, even though I have somewhat sen skin. their foot cream is fab. |
