I've been getting quite a lot of comments over the past few months.. Mostly just things like "you look tired". I lost some weight last year, (nothing dramatic) and I have noticed my face has reacted quite badly.
I won't reveal my age (yet) - I would really appreciate your HONEST opinion on how old I look in these pictures - most specifically the non-smiling ones.
If anyone has any tips/advice, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys

I forgot to mention; this is(/was) not *my* account, (until yesterday). A family friend referred me here and gave me her login details; (she said no longer used it - so why not?) |

You don't look old..but you do look tired.
I think if you could get rid of the dark circles under your eyes it would help a lot. Maybe vitamin K cream…or get some ideas from the members here who have fixed that problem.
but anything can be helped..trust me. everyone on here has their issues..and we always find the answer. |

First of all it's impossible to gauge a true impression of someones age when it's up that close. I'm not use to looking at anyone, besides myself of course, that closely.
Although I do understand why you may not want to fully reveal your face.
Remember, though, that no one scrutinizes us to the detail that we do ourselves. Mostly to others it's an overall impression.
But you don't look old at all. You look quite young.
You do have a little darkness under your eyes and that may be giving that impression that you look tired. Are you drinking enough water and getting enough sleep?
So the first culprit might be dehydration.
And don't worry about smiling. Some people worry that smiling makes them look like they have lines and look older (I remember thinking that when I was only 16 and 17)
But no one has ever accused me of looking old or tired when I was smiling. |

I just want to second what others have said to you already. It is very difficult to gauge anyones age that close up. Sometimes the way a person looks isn’t reflective of their energy or personality which is also something that makes people appear youthful or mature.
Your eyes do show signs of stress/tiredness which is quite obvious. If people are asking you if you looked tired, it may be because you are not looking your usual self.
Even when kids smile they have lines that show, thing is that when a kid stops smiling the lines vanish. That’s because usually their skins are young and healthy. It is as we age that the skin’s snap back response stops being as speedily. |

I am not sure if you actually have darkness under your eyes or if it is the camera angle/flash.
You do have great skin tone....even tone with absolutely no redness or blotchiness. I don't see any signs of sun damage (hyper pigmentation) or freckling.
I agree with the comment that we are our harshest critic. |

You look a tiny bit tired but Not too bad at all! I'm dealing with the same thing, so I feel you. What is your regimen now? |

Oh, and I just read that you wanted us to post your approximate age... I'm so bad at this, but I'll give it a shot - I'm guessing you are about 27? |

I don’t think you are old but look tired, especially your eyes. |

Oh gosh - So sorry guys! I thought I had replied.
I am actually 18; I began using No7 eye cream (by boots), and have made a vitamin K serum which I use a few times a week. I think I see some improvement.. But nothing significant enough..yet! |

I agree with the others. You don't look old just tired. I would say young 20's. |

You don't look that old, there are some small bags under your eyes that can be easily fixed with a Lift Wand.. they are awesome and will definitely combat gravity and crows feet.. I love mine. |

You look like a handsome young guy who is a little tired. At your age, for me it would have been lifestyle, but I know nothing about yours .
To fill that 'tear trough', you could try cheek lifting exercises (I use Ageless if you Dare and Flexeffect). Should be easy to find some free ones online, but make sure they are resistance training that use the hands as resistance, not just some winking exercise. |
