| I am about to order obagi products and i would like to hear if anyone has had any really bad reactions to the product? :D |

Hi Paulajg! I'm a new member too. I just started the Obagi Nuderm system 12 days ago. Don't know if you've navigated through this forum, but there's a wealth of information regarding the Obagi products! I read a ton of info before I ever joined EDS. It seems the normal reactions to this product line include: redness, peeling, flakiness, dryness, and even lesions/acne. My understanding is that this is the process required at the cellular level in order to produce healthier and more beautiful skin. Since I'm only on Day 12, I have a long way to go -- probably 18 weeks and then a maintenance program. I guess I'm in it for the long haul!  |

Kims has totally given a brief summary of all the bad reactions nu-derm will bring to.

Hi Paulajg,
Everything Kims said is right on. Even knowing all that going in, I was really surprised just how red and peely with flakes I got. I'm on Day 22, and although not near as red, still flake everyday. Also, like Kims said, do a search for Obagi Nu Derm on the forums. I tried to read everything before I started , and knew it was not for the faint of heart. I had people asking me if I was okay ,or how I'd gotten such a bad sunburn in the beginning. I will say, people who make it through the 18 weeks all gush about the wonderful results, but you do have some very difficult times throughout. Hope that helps, and do read all the old posts! |

Did you ever order the Obagi Nuderm system? If so, how are things going with it? I was just reviewing some Obagi threads and came across this one so I thought I'd see how you're doing! I've just about finished my 7th week and I swear it's a new day every day with Obagi!  |
