Hello comeinpeace,
Maybe you should check out Copper Peptides, as there is significant, IMHO, evidence that they remodel damaged skin.
The most informative site is Skin Biology by Loren Pickart |

I think Alien is going to say what I am going to say...
"huh?"
I am also new to this forum and am not familiar with AHA or BHA, is this a chemical of some sort? Is it a vitamin? And where would you get it? At the grocer's or pharmacy??
Thanks |

Welcome come in peace! I had the same skin issues you do. What changed my life was the NaturDerm product line. EDS sells them under Natural and Organic. It is a silicone free product line which is hard to fine. Most of the anti aging products, and skin products have silicones. Some disagree, but you can't get around the fact that they are a plastic base. Your skin is suppose to breathe and release toxins, it is the largest organ in your body. I think of it like a plastic bag on your face. Anyway, I had acne, old acne scars, large pores, melasma, pretty much a mess. You might like it as it is a multi purpose use. Each product seems to work miracles for me. They have a lot of testimonials from men. I know using the Epidermx II daily will help you, when I added the Chrysalyx (firmer and nice herbal smell) the scars really started to smooth. There are some incredible stretch mark and scar photos here

I've just looked at the links you've provided and can do the same for you with not only a photoshop, but with time. With time, if weight is lost, stretchmarks will turn white and blend more with the skin. You can also do home treatments for it.
On face - you can start with facial exercises and look younger, so I never believe those "before and after" photos and believe the high price on these products is pure marketing |

zverenok-- feel free to check out the before and after pictures I posted of how the Naturderm products helped me with my acne scars on my EDS review. They are most certainly not photoshopped. |

There is a new Olay line called Pro-X that I've been wanting to try but it's pretty pricey for a drugstore brand. They promise results in 28 days or your money back guaranteed. They have a discoloration cream, so I wonder if that might not help you with your hyperpigmentation issue. I'm not sure what the small bumps are that you mentioned though. Aren't they still considered acne? Or are you allergic to something? It sounds like my skin when it was reacting to an acne product I tried and it didn't like. Once I stopped using that acne product, and let it calm down on its own, the small bumps went away. What are your acne scars like? Are they pitted? Or are they just colored? |

Hi Comeinpeace,
You must check out the 302 skincare thread on the product reveiw forum. That line is very oriented toward the problems you are trying to work on. The first page Boski tells how she came to find 302 and how it helped with her acne/post acne problems and she even has or did have pictures.
I hope this helps you.

Before you buy a bunch of expensive topical products that may or may not do a thing for you, why don't you consult your dermatologist? You need to know all your options and exactly how much improvement you can expect from each one.
It would be a shame to mess up your progress to date. Women don't have beards and we don't shave every day. My mind conjures up worst case, so I think of what happens if you use something that gives you a bad reaction - a rash or a serious breakout. You can't cover it with makeup as we can. |
