I use my c serum every morning and thought I would try making the Super Toner with pearl powder added, but it is my understanding I couldn't add lysorbic acid to that because of some conflict with the green tea. So I wondered if I could add the pearl powder to my c serum.

SAs wouldn't let me post until I was approved to their forum, so I registered 4 days ago and so far I haven't heard from them. I decided to go ahead and add the pearl powder when making my next batch of c serum. It's just the simple recipe with 1/4 tsp LAA, 1 1/2 tsps rosewater, 1/2 tsp glycerin, and a drop of vitamin E, but this time I added 1/4 tsp water-soluble pearl powder from TKB to the water phase. It took some stirring, but it finally dissolved. I discovered using orange blossom water does not work for this. The pearl and c become little rocks and do not dissolve. I never tried using orange blossom water before, it was my first time. Thought it would be a good idea at the time for variation from my rose water and may even be better. But if orange blossom water is toning for the skin, it doesn't work this way. I also made the super toner with pearl powder and thankfully, the pearl powder did not react with the green tea or vinegar and dissolved just fine. I am using onion infused vinegar for evening my complexion I read about here. I alternate days using the toner and c serum in the mornings now. My skin is looking more even and bright!
