| This is my first time using the Obagi clenziderm md system and I'm a little scared about the peeling of the skin, I was reading all the reviews and it seems to work but will I be able to go outside without having to hide my face? And why can't I use moisturizer while using this, did I miss something? |

| Hi, I am about to start the nu-derm system, so have been doing major research online about the Obagi systems. You dont need moisturiser because they say your skin will not need it - it will normalise. Also, I think moisturising is going to slow down the peeling process (which sounds a nightmare doesnt it!!!) and you dont want to slow that down, get it over with. Everyone says the peeling is horrific, red face, dry skin, peeling all over the place. Many people give up in the first few weeks because of this, but they say you have to stick it out and look at the long term goal - beautiful skin like a baby. This takes 3 stages - 6/8 weeks of looking crap, 6/8 weeks of in between but better skin, then onward improvement which in all takes up to 18 weeks. It is a commitment for sure! Just tell folks what you are doing so they can expect it. |
