If you go to the refrigerated section of a good health food store, you will usually find bottles of probiotics in their liquid state. These are LIVE probiotics as opposed to the dried ones you will find in capsules. Try to find the bottle that has the most strains of probiotics. Add it generously to a fruit smoothie and you might be in heaven.
You can also reproduce this probiotic by getting a yogurt maker and, using whole organic milk, simply cook it in the yogurt maker. You can continue to incorporate different strains for further generations of it also.
I do this with Kefir and probiotics (mixed together) from the local health food store. Kefir also has a lot of good strains of probiotics in it. |
