I have a wedding in Cuba this spring and need a waterproof / long wear lip colour for the day of the wedding. I don't normally wear anything more than blistex or a sheer gloss on my lips as lip colour disappears within minutes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I have tried many of the drugstore brands and found that cover girl works the best for me.

Not quite a lipstick but cover girl lip stains last a long time and the color selection is great. I put gloss over it but you dont have to.

Thanks,

I didn't expect anyone to recommend something I could get at the corner pharmacy. I'll give it a try

Smashbox o-gloss
U'll have it on all day long even if you don't want it . It suppose to be transparent and to give your lips a natural look . It works different on each individual .For me is great in the first hour - shiny rosy lips . After a while remains only the pink that is getting pinker and mat. Still I love it if i put a very small amount ... You can eat , drink ... kiss;) it will be still there .

Congratulations Smile

It's not my wedding. My best friend is getting married and I'll be her witness.

I've got o-gloss in my makeup case. I wore it once and for some reason I don't remember I haven't touched it since. Will give it another try tomorrow.

I find that colouring in the lips with a lip pencil and then using a lipstick/lacquer/gloss over it really helps it stay on as well as having a great hue. I find that lacquer and liner work the best.

thanks,

I tried the CG lipstain and it's ok - lasted a couple hours. I picked the wrong colour though - the colour looks nice in the tube but once I add gloss it's way too bright.

Hi Lianne

The lipstick I use from cover girl is called outlast all day lipcolor. If you go to their website you will see it. Lots of colors to choose from. Smile
