Hi girls,

I'm not sure if I should have posted this in the DIY section, so I apologise if this is in the wrong section.
I was wondering if anybody has a good place to order french green clay in the UK? I want to make my own masks but don't know where to get good quality green clay from. I'm in London, by the way.
Hope everybody is well!

I have bought it here in the US at my health food store. It makes a nice mask on it's own or mixed with whatever suits your skin. Smile

Thanks a lot, Dark Moon. Are there big quality differences? I am scared to buy something with toxins or whatever Laughing
Might just be paranoid, though. I break out so easily, I'm scared to put anything on my skin. Sad

I find it's known for being very pure, many cosmetics companies use it in masks and it purifies the skin so I don't believe you have any worries with it. Smile

I bought a huge jar in a health food store for under $10.00 cdn.

In addition to being mixed with a liquid for a mask; it can be used as a face powder.

I had read on another forum that a light dusting absorbs oils. I did try it and it does work. I am quite oily.

I prefer to alter my skin care routine. I have added Skin Biology Sebum be Gone and it works very well to nuetralize oil. (Available at EDS)

I just add warm water very gradually a little at a time, mixing very well until I reach the consistency of a mask, it's something that takes a bit of time but well worth it. I make sure to break up any lumps in the dry clay first and find a small whisk or even a fork helps to get a nice smooth paste. Smile

Thanks, ladies! Very Happy
I wonder if it's possible to make a cleanser with it instead of a mask? Still looking for a natural cleanser for blemish prone skin and can't seem to find anything. Any recipes anybody?
