I have small nasolabial folds and am considering getting either Radiesse or Juvederm. I have read several posts and it seems like the vote is really half and half. I thought I would start another post to get the most recent opinions.
Also, a co-worker told me not to chew gum after getting fillers bc it breaks down the filler and shortens the amount of time they are still in the fold. I am schedule to get a Pixel Laser Peel in the coming two weeks……should I get the filler down after this as well. I would assume that if gum breaks them down, the laser will as well.
And finally, do fillers work on the small wrinkles around my eyes?
Opinions/Thoughts?
TIA!!! |

The laser could heat up your filler, so you want to do the laser before any filler.
You will also want to wait for any laser inflammation to subside (which makes folds look less prominent) before getting any filler, or you could get less than you really need.
I would also consider Artefill for your NL lines, which is permanent. |

Bethany is right on, I second the waiting period after the laser. I had an IPL done one time too close to time after my filler and it dissipated it somewhat. I don't even use my Baby Q on those areas.
I have had both and prefer the juvaderm, no lumps or bumps and is very smooth.
I have not had the artefill, but I have heard good things and I do like that it is permanent. I might look into that myself next time.
Let us know what you go with. |

Thanks so much to both of you. Schedule the laser for this coming Monday and then fillers for the friday after that.
I might take pics and post them but will certainly let you know how it goes! |
