Can you use both at the same time? If so, how can you use them and for how long? |

Triluma is a Rx that is a combo of 4% hydroquinone, .05% tretinion and another ingredient. It's used for melasma and is only used for short-term, 8 weeks. I think you can start up the therapy again after you've given your skin a rest following the 1st 8-wk. course. Check w/your MD if you think this is what you need. |

That is pretty much Obagi Nu Derm. They add in an AHA. The combo of HQ and RA work really well for pigmentation issues. They say not to stay on the HQ longer than 3 months at a time, take a break, and then restart if you need do. Also, it can take up to 3 months to see the results from that combo, so it is not a quick fix. |

In what order would you go about it if you were using individual products at night? Cleanse, wait for 10 to 15 mins, then retin-a micro, then how long must the wait be before for the HQ?
Can you put lotion after the HQ or is that a no no? |

If you are not on Nu Derm than you can use a lotion after the HQ. You could do it either way actually, the HQ first and then micro, or the micro and then the HQ. With micro you don't need to wait after cleansing (unless you have been told to do so by a derm!). And, I would only wait as long as it took to rub whichever one you applied first in, and then put the other one on. |

Ladies, thank you so much for helping me with this decision. The cost alone was scarry, but after reading all the stories about Tri-luma. I will not be getting this prescription. I will however spend the $54 to buy ANEW CLINICAL Luminosity Pro Brightening Serum. I have been using the sample packs for the past two weeks and there is a noticeable difference on my skin.
Thanks again for sharing. |

I use this just on the spots. It is 50% better after I apply it every other day for just a month. I read that ppl are saying once stop using it, the pigmentation will come back. So I have been good using it so far. My skin can tolerate it pretty well. |
