How do i get rid of the orange peel texture. I have very sensitive rosacea skin. Please dont say lasers, they damaged my skin and others that I know have been damaged too by them. Thanks

There are many different kinds of lasers, so while one may have damaged your skin in the past others may not. The skill of the operator is also very important!

I developed an orange-peel texture (amongst other problems) to areas on my face after using copper peptides about 5 months ago. What has completely reversed it (and it took a few months) was low-dose isotretinoin (formerly Accutane). I started out taking 20mg daily and remained on that for a month and now am on 20mg every-other day and will be staying on that for a few more months (26 weeks altogether). I've experienced no negative side-effects and some other positives have been a general smoothing of my skin and lessening of sebaceous hyperplasia.

Low-dose isotretinoin is sometimes used in the treatment of rosacea too so it's worth talking to your dermatologist about it.

This is weird. I would swear I replied to this earlier today. Shock

Anyway, the orange peel texture is most likely from inflammation. What are you doing to treat your rosacea? Are you using any prescription topicals or antibiotics?

Hello! What kind of laser treatments did you receive that damaged your skin? It seems so many people have a love-hate relationship with lasers!

Have you tried the "proven" methods of anti-aging? A vitamin c serum, a retinoid, and effective sunscreen?

I also have rather large pores with slightly oily skin that results in an "orange peel" appearance. At the moment, I'm also taking a very low-dose of isotretinoin. I've been doing this for almost two weeks and am starting to see some results: less oily skin, tighter pores, and softer skin overall.

You might want to check out the EDS thread that discusses low-doses of isotretinoin (accutane.)
