I use skinbiology.com's LacSal on my face and neck because it is rather mild, but my arms are getting that crepey looking old lady skin so I think I need something stronger. Something cheap but effective. Do I need glycolic only or a mix of several acids? I don't have sensitive skin so I think I can handle something stronger. |

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't do anything too harsh because it might actually aggravate the problem. Try the same amount you use on your face/neck and see if it works?
Perhaps extra moisturizing will also help I use pure Vitamin E oil because it stimulates more collagen growth (encourages skin cells to grow). |

I think around 8% is a good %. Glycolic is good, you don't need to find a mixed AHA unless you want to. If you are going to start using AHA on your arms be sure to use sunscreen on them or you could end up worse off.
For a cheap recommendation, Walgreens brand makes an 8% AHA cream for the face that you could use on your arms too. I've read raves about the product on MUA and there is also a recent thread on it on the Product Review board.

I recommend dry skin brushing before anything else. It really softens the skin and improves circulation. Supposed to tighten skin, too. Then top off with a good moisturizer. |
