Hi there...
I was looking for a treatment that could treat my hyperpigmentation problem. After several laser and IPL hair removal treatments i have severe hyperpigmentarion problems in legs, arms and abs. Not scaring, just hypigmentation, not even so dark, but in very extended areas. So this look like I was tortured years ago. (in fact laser treatment it is!)
So i was reading this forum, and mequinol seems to be the most reasonable safe/effective treatment equilibrium.
But it is recomended to enhance penetration mixed with tretinoin. Unfornatelly i have not access to this product, in large amounts (considering the extended areas to treat).
So i think that Trichloroacetic acid TCA at low percentage could help to exfoliate effectively and safe.
SO i mixed:
TCA 5%
Mequinol 8%
Citric Acid 0.05% (just to mequinol's stability)
In a solution of 50:50 Alcohol/Propylene glycol
I would like to have your opinion.
The TCA+meuquinol, does not hurt or sting. But i can feel a little fresh your skin after, like you were applying menthol, maybe because TCA.
This lotion is not for face: I applied once in face, but i had to washed over beacause it does hurt, but no side effects. |
