does this help the niaciamide work optimally? or is this just an extra ingredient that some people like to add? thanks

They are supposed to work synergistically - I'm sorry, but I don't know exactly how. But this is from the BulkActives website:

do you think taking glucosamine supplements would trigger my body to keep building hyaluronic acid then? I have read that after your 20s the amount of HA in you bones/body/joints depletes significantly....

Sorry, can't help you there. All I know about oral glucosamine is that it's good for joint health.

The information I gave above is for a topically applied facial serum.
