I'm looking for a tinted sunscreen. I would like it to have 20 SPF or more. I don't want it to look like a fondation I wanted a natural look.
I have a farly light skin and the tinted is only to have kind of a healty glow. I planned on wearing a serum and a day cream under it.
Any recommendation ? |

Colorescience makes tinted physical sunscreens in a really nice powder form, it's all natural. My personal favorite is the ORB there are color choices but it isn't a heavy foundation look at all! You can buy it right here from EDS. |

I use Invisible Zinc. It's very popular here in Australia. It doesn't contain any nasties & looks very natural. I have fairly pale skin & use the Light one. Most people would be able to use it as a 3 in 1 sunscreen, moisturiser & foundation but my skin is dry/dehydrated so i need a moisturiser under it. |

For natural look and light coverage, you may try Laura Mericer's tinted moisturizer SPF 20.
I use the illuminating one, make my skin looks very healthy. |

Philosophy's the supernatural poreless, flawless, tinted. comes in only one color, but seems to work for everyone. This is an amazing product, its a tinted sunscreen that minimizes pores, protects from sun and gives you coverage but you dont look like you are wearing makeup,I like it because I am 56 and I strive really hard to have the natural look. This stuff is the bomb, try it at Nordstroms, buy it and if you dont like it return for full refund, you dont even need a receipt.Been using this for 5 yrs. One tube lasts a very long time. |

chantrelle99,
Sorry I should have linked to it for you! For what it's worth it applies like a very fine silky "powder", I know some members that don't like make up but love this sunscreen! |

I can't make a suggestion because I feel that layering is a lot better.
You may want to take a look at Chantecaille. |

That's what I do with the Colorescience Orb layer it over a cream type physical sunscreen and under my MMU! Florida sun so as much protection as possible! |

Two years ago, I got Colorscience SPF loose powder and loved it. I've seen Chantecaille version and loved it also, but I did not buy it. I think I will get it this spring, when it is warmer here.
You are so lucky to live in Florida, even though you are getting a cold spell in that State right now. |

LOL, I know this may sound weird but I really miss the seasons and a grey day at least once in a while! |

Maybe having a grey day every once in a blue moon, but not on regular basis here. Too dirty and depressing.
I think there is a thread here that is about Mircale10. That one may be worth looking into, chantrelle99. |

It's too much of a good thing I guess we get over 360 days of sunshine a year!
I am using burnout SS with the Colorscience Orb over it thanks to Riley's recommendation! I may try Devita next but the Orb is a keeper for me! |

I've recently discovered Elta MD UV Physical and I love this product. It has 9% zinc oxide and 7% titanium dioxide. I'm actually using it as a foundation/concealer, not a sunscreen.
I first put on a generous layer of untinted physical sunscreen (burnout) and then over that a light layer of the elta md wherever I want the coverage- around my eyes and in the t zone. I'm putting it on like make up. I don't wear any other make up. It looks like sheer foundation and it's really nice, there's only one tint and I think it would work on light to medium skin tones. |

I had the oil-free sunscreen version and it went on like whip cream. But in the summer, to keep reapplying, I found it to be messy, not to say others are not, but I have more high end purses and I didn't want it all marked up from my hands.
I just ordered the Clear version SPF 46 and apparently it is lighter texture. |

If you want a natural coverage and sun protection, I think that bb cream may be a good choice too. The bb cream is actually the same as a tinted moisturizer. I am using Missha's bb cream with SPF 60. |

It sounds really nice, for me in Florida with the humidity I really like the "powdered" minerals of the Orb! |

Yes, it's a cream. It comes in a 3 oz squeeze tube and it's priced $22-27. I don’t like powder. My skin is on the dry side so powder is terrible on me and it’s too much effort. I’m sure some people can (and do) use this as their sole sunscreen but of course that’s not going to be me but I do like that I get a little additional protection when I’m putting on make up. Somehow it’s perfect on everyone in my family’s skin- I’m light-medium with warm undertones, my sister is super light with pink undertones, and my mom is medium warm.
[As an aside, this gets my mom to wear a physical sunscreen! She loves the sun and irrationally is against any type of sunscreen but she loves how this makes her skin look. Previously, the only thing she liked was the dermalogica tinted moisturizer, which has octinoxate and only 5% zinc oxide so the elta is definitely an upgrade]
When considering that it’s a make up, it’s priced really well for the amount. I don’t like that they list the ingredients list in alphabetical order but it’s only rated a 3 on the EWG and I’m more tolerant of the ingredients in make up. It just blends really well, it makes it look like you’re not wearing make up but it makes your skin look just a little bit better, it’s enough that I don’t feel like I need concealer for the under eye area. And if you do want to wear make up it’ll serve as a primer.

To me the Orb doesn't feel like powder it's just hard to describe any other way! It has a very fine silky texture that is almost primer like under MMU, and makes the skin look really great for days I don't feel like the whole make up routine. It all boils down to what works for each individual. I know some love the Burnout while others found it very tacky feeling. I also find for me personally many things including sunscreens tend to cause my eyes to tear, so any winning combination is a stick with it for me. |

Maybe this was the one I had in the past. I remember that the cream felt lightweight and felt like whipped cream when you apply it on. |

Actually when I want to go out for a day I do layering to get a good protection. But for those busy mornings when I got to the office and spend a just a few minutes outside (especialy that it is winter right now in Canada) I need quick and easy stuffs
The orb sounds good. I like powders. |
