Greetings I've been lurking for quite some time, reading the wealth of information on this great forum. I noticed that there's only a few threads on Perfect Complexion products so I figured I'd reach out and ask if anyone's tried the new Lifting Serum or the Amazing Day and Eye Creme? I'm thinking about buying them but wanted to see if there were any additional reviews anyone could help me with. Right now, there are only a few threads on HA Soylift which briefly touch on some of her peels. I appreciate anyone taking the time to respond! Thanks... |

I used the Amazing Day and Eye cream. I actually really liked it, but it seemed to cause me to break out in little pimples. I like her products. They feel good on my skin, but I think they are overpriced. |

I'm guessing they might not be the miracles they're touted to be on the Perfect Complexion website, given the lack of responses. Wish there were actual samples for sale. |

I used the Amazing Day and Eye cream as well, and found it really heavy! It's too thick and feels strange as if your skin stops breathing(like vaseline).
But I do like her Firming Serum! Works wonders under the eyes and on the neck. It is loaded with various actives. Pricewise, her products do not fall into extremes of being too expensive or cheap. |

I had used these products in the past (and some others from her), and while they were not bad they were not remarkable either.

sigma, can kindly share the names of the remarkable ones? I only know one - Retin A. |

I love the products, I've always thought about writing a review, but I'm not really good at that.
As far as the lifting serum, it's fantastic. I've never found anything that works that well. I read on the forum once that you basically do a 5 layer mask with it, all on one night before you go to bed. I always do do this before any big event, or party with people I haven't seen for awhile. It has lasted me probably a year by doing this, but I'm thinking of just making this a weekly application.
I also love the HA Soy lift, especially if you put some on the eyes and forehead and hold the eyes open and hold for a minute or so.
For me, the AD & E is not too rich, and is my daily moisturizer, but I can see how it would be to rich for some, my skin is basically normal. I do wish it had SPF, but I guess it's not a big deal to add that.
If you order anything and ask for a sample, she will usually send that along with the order and include other samples. Another thing she has done for me typically is if I order 1 oz, I get 2 oz, but that is by no means a guarantee. I think the firming serum is currently on special as 2 oz for the price of 1. I don't know what you can even compare it too, but I don't know of anything in that price range that is similar.
The issue I have is that the owner almost never goes to the forum and answers questions, and rarely answers emails. Also, I think the website is not that great, for instance, if I want to place a link here for a product I like, it will only take you to the home page. There are also 2 websites, and they sometimes have different products, so it is confusing when you want to refer someone there. I am really disappointed that the forum has died off lately, too.
I also love the peels, although you really have to spend some time reading and experimenting to find what will work for you. Some expert professional users of the product do frequent the forum and can be very helpful. There used to be a man that would answer questions and he was pretty helpful, but he has had health issues and I haven't seen him on lately.
For the 3-4 years I have been on this forum, I can say that I always go back to Perfect Complexion and PSF, those are my go-to product lines. Well, also Skin Actives as needed and then SB for Copper Peptides. |

RussianSunshine, I do not use Retin A, so can not comment on that. The miracle product for me is Vivant Mandelic 3-in-1 serum.
The constant staples that I keep reordering for the past year or two are: Seachi Serum (very healing and calming), Tony Zavasta's cream (basic inexpensive and does so much for my skin) and Dr. Alkaitis (almost the entire line). In addition facial exercises and high frequency device are also invaluable imho.
HA Soy Lift did absolutely nothing for me - not for under eye area, nor for the forehead, despite trying it again and again. The creams were OK, but not more then that.

Sigma - what do you like about the Viviant Mandelic Serum? I'm a bit disappointed to hear about Perfect Complexion's lifting serum and HA Soylift. Also, this is the third or fourth time that I've read about her peels not causing any peeling, which is strange considering peeling is what she advocates in order to prepare the skin for her products. Regardless, I was really hoping to find a great lifting and or tightening serum. Would anyone have any suggestions? |

I am a natural redhead with freckles, some old acne scars, sometimes with a few new small pimples, uneven skin tone, and also have a very reactive skin, plus a few wrinkles.
For me Mandelic helped with evening out the skin tone, keeps my skin clean and supple. I found it to be the only thing that helps with acne and is anti-aging at the same time. It is most definitely exfoliating but in a more manageable way.
In terms of lifting imho facial exercises are a way to go and massages (Vaculift, Tanaka) and High Frequency. It did so much more for me (under eye area, double chin, neck, ...). I had tried so many topicals and am yet to find one that would do more then a very temporary lift.

I have very very dry skin and I am looking for a very rich cream so this might be answer for me. Is the customer service very good? I did not see a telephone number on their web site so I am alittle concerned about communication. |

I have never had an issue with my order, I am in the middle of the US and always get it quickly, like 3 days, it's correct, and has some goodies added in . There is not a phone number, which bugs me a little bit, but if you do have an issue with an order, be sure to make that clear in an email subject line. The owner gets lots of generic emails each day, so she just can't read them all. |

I've used (and used up!) my Amazing Day and Eye cream a while back. I found it to be a good, daily-use facial moisturizer that really helped me with winter dryness and tightness without breaking me out - a big problem for me with a lot of moisturizers. I may go back to it, after I finish some experimenting with other things. It was *okay* for my eyes, but I've found other things that have worked better - that little project still a work in progress too!
I have a few of Perfect Complexion's peel products in my arsenal: TCA Latte, TCA Complex, and Apeel Daily. Love them all. I tend to use them more as spot/small area treatments than as full-face peels. Apeel Daily is wonderful for my half-"11" line between my eyes; it really zaps it. And yes, it definitely causes some peeling for me.
Royal Jelly + HA is great for these weird, hormonal under-the-skin jawline bumps I've been getting for a few years now; menopausal stuff, I'm sure.
Getting back to the OP's questions, the Soylift didn't do any lifting for me, though I admit that my problem areas need more aggressive help than Soylift can provide.
Occasionally, I'd ask Julie (the owner) questions and she was good about getting back to me. She's also very generous with samples and little goodies! Overall, I like her products. |
