AM:
Cleansing oil
Sunscreen - high percentage of Zinc Oxide
PM: Cleansing Oil
Alternating: Retin A, oil based C&E (homemade), Estrogen topicals
Occasionally - fillers, Botox, peels
New for 2011 - looking into plastic surgery on the midface and a little lipo under the chin. I have no use for sagging cheeks and a turkey waddle. Life is short.

For me 2011 will be seeing some changes, I don't have it all down but,
Sticking with oil cleansing AM and PM
Deciding about Vitamin C LAA form
Probably sticking with Lipid C
Adding Retin A (about time)
Considering the following,
CP's
Dermarolling
Not certain about what else and how often?? |

Well, I am on a no buy so I will be using up what I have!
Mornings will be whatever product I am using up at the time, plus my Devita sunscreen. Evenings will be alternating Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, Eluage, and Super GHK serum. I also will be continuing on with my AALS trial. |

Ok, here goes...
AM:
1) Cleanser - at present I alternate a mix of stuff I have on hand (Clarins and Dermadoctor's glycolic cleanser)
2) DIY Vit C serum with LAA and tetra C plus seabuckthorn berry, cistus and helichrysum EOs; wait 15-20 minutes
3) GoW's collagen serum
4) Sunscreen (either MVO tinted or Devita)
PM:
1) OCM or other cleanser (I don't use OCM on my Retin-A nights)
2) Retin-A .05 every other night alternated with Revaleskin Coffeeberry cream
3) Followed by oil blend
Occasional:
About 2x/week I use Skinbio's Lacsal before the Revaleskin
FlexEffect facial exercises...when I remember
There are a few things I'm thinking of incorporating/re-incorporating:
1) 0.5ml dermaroller: did it weekly for 8-9 weeks, might try it again
2) Glycolic and/or TCA peels: did a series of these and might do another
3) Fillers: It's probably time...maybe Juvaderm in the smile lines next to the mouth in 2011
4) Estee Lauder night repair: This has gotten such good reviews I might have to try it |

Hi, I'm new to regimes and stuff so I'm hoping to stick to the following:
am:
1. Cleanse + clarisonic (currently using up 2 bottles of Clinique 3 step cleansers that I have left)
2. Tone: Body Shop vit E toner
3. Clinique City Block spf 40
4. Moisturiser from Bravura London called C+Antioxidant moisturiser
pm:
1. Cleanse with cleanser
2. Tone - Clinique toner
3. 15% Glycolic Acid night cream (also bought from Bravura)
Weekly: LA peel (in place of the GA moisturiser - followed by the C+Antioxidant moisturiser)
I only just started this - and I'm currently going through a very red patch, with other areas of amazing skin - hoping the redness is just my skin aclimatising. Besides, I think the plan seems like a good one to carry on into the new year and beyond! |

I am revamping my routine too. I alternate things quite a bit - so I don't really have a typical schedule.
Just kinda do what I think my skin needs at the moment.
Here is what is in my arsenal:
Antioxidant: DIY Green Tea Toner, GOW Heather Blossom Toner (either one 1x per day)
Exfoliant: Alpha Hydrox 12% Cream (3x per week)
Treatment: Skin Biology Skin Signals Cream (3x per week), DIY Serum with Tetra C and Renovage (3X per week) Skin Actives Be Kind Rewind Cream (3X per week)
Cleanser: NCN Rhassoul Bar (only at night)
Hydrators: GOW Frankincense Gel, Emu Oil, GOW Fruity Meow lotion *OR* Avocado Oil - (whichever one my skin wants at the moment)
Other: Skin Actives Let's Make Collagen (3x per week) Rhassoul Clay (1X per week), Skin Actives Anti-ox booster (1x per week straight)
---
This is a pretty new routine. |
_________________ 42! Currently using: NCN All-in-One, Mito-Q cream, Eviron AVST, Osea, Grateful Body. Wouldnt be without: Rhassoul clay, avocado oil, Glorybe Herbals hydrosols and perfume oils |

My new and improved tweaked routine:
AM:
Cleanse w/PSF Gentle Cleansing Castile
Witch hazel, only if needed
PC's BHA 2% gel
AHA - currently using up my AHA+ from acne.org but just ordered Alpha Hydrox Retinol ResQ
Sunscreen mixed w/a little HA
Spritz w/rosewater
PM:
Cleanse w/SCC Glycolic Cleanser and clarisonic
Witch hazel, only if needed
PC's BHA 2% gel
Alternate between Retin-A .025% gel and AHA
CeraVe PM mixed w/a little HA
I used DY's 2% BHA for years. I like it but realize I need to be gentler w/my skin. I am finding that the low pH is a little too irritating for me. The same holds true for my Retin-A. I have to force myself not to use it too often, so am now only using it every other night, instead of every night. |

That's if my sensitive skin can tolerate this regime! |

So far the plan is:
AM:
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet
La Roche-Posay Hydraphase UV SPF 15/PPD 12 (Euro formula) OR La Roche-Posay Antheliox XL Melt in Cream SPF 50+ / PPD 30 (Euro formula)
PM:
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet
Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid
Paula's Choice Resist Barrier Repair Moisuriser
OCCASIONAL:
Paula's Choice 8% AHA Gel
These products are all HGs right now. Whether their effectiveness (or my skins cooperation) continues I don't know. I'll also be moving to another country in a couple of months, so may well have to change products with the new (warmer) climate. |

This is what i try to follow lately:
AM
Cleanse - water (if i find some spare time will do Tanaka with oil before my morning shower)
No Toner
Skinceuticals CE Ferulic
Whatever moisturizer i currently have with SPF 15+ on summer, without on winter (New York ... )
PM
L'Oreal Eye Makeup remover (can't be without)
Cleanse - Alternating glycolic cleanser with Lancome's Cream-To-Oil Massage Cleanser
L'Oreal Toner (simple and cheap, but effective)
Tanaka with oil followed by Retin A Micro 0.04% - every 3 days
NuSkin Galvanic Spa - once a week (started as every other day, but it was too aggressive for my skin)
NuSkin should be followed by some good mask or two and then some serum (depends how much time i have to spend)
Tua Trend every day except Retin-A and NuSkin days. |

A.M.
- Distilled water spritz + microfiber cloth
- DIY antioxidant + peptide serum
- No sunscreen ever unless I'm going to the beach and then it's "Color Science Sunforgetable Minerals Clear, SPF 30", and my floppy hat and glasses.
Early P.M.
- Distilled water spritz + microfiber cloth (Or if I have had mineral powder on then I use Cetaphil Cleanser with the cloth. It's very seldom that I need a cleanser, since I seldom use sun protection and don't wear makeup)
- DIY antioxidant serum (that contains 5% green tea to help squelch free radicals)
Late P.M to Beddy Bye (Most nights)
- Either I steam my face in the shower or apply warm/hot washcloths, for 5 minutes, then I use the microfiber cloth.
- If it's an LED night, then I apply my DIY collagen building serum and do my treatment.
- (Before Bed) I alternate nights with 12% AHA, DIY A,C,E + ALA serum (oil soluble blend)or a heavier version of my DIY antioxidant serum that contains oils + ceramides.
Occasionally
- I use DIY 15% C,E + FA serum 2 or 3 times per week (day or night) as it strikes my fancy..
- I usually leave one day per week where I use nothing at all applied topically
- My Retin-A use is occasional + sporadic. I'll sometimes do it 3 or 4 nights in one week, and then not do it again for a month or so.
- ETA: OCM once or twice a month (Macadamia, Castor Oil + Wheat Germ (or) Grapeseed Oil) |
_________________ ♥I'm flattered by all the lovely PM's, but I don't get here much these days. Please don't be afraid to post your quearies to other DIY members who will be glad to help you (or sell you their wares..lol) Still happy with LED, dermarolling and a DIY antioxidant regime. Peace & Hugs to all.♥ |

Time2Bme, do you use foundation?
Also, I read somewhere that it is not recommended to apply zinc oxide sunscreen after CPs ( it can make your pores larger). But it seems to work for you! |

Hi RussianSunshine
I don't put any of the sunscreen on my chest area - this is the only area I'm using CPs. I'm bundled up if I'm outside, so it isn't getting any sun !!! I live in Ontario, Canada; it is too cold for any skin exposure here !!
I do use foundation. I very recently (just over a week now) started using Bobbi Brown's Luminous Foundation. I wasn't getting the lasting coverage with MMU, so I decided to return to liquid foundations. I really like the Luminous; I get the coverage I want, but don't feel like I'm wearing fake skin. I don't know whether I'll be able to stick with the Luminous come the warmer months, but for this time of year - it is perfect. I found a really good cosmetician from BB; she has been a great resource for me. She said that I may want to switch to the foundation stick or one of the other foundations come the summer.
I am going to have to tweek my routine a little bit though. I am finding that my skin still looks great, but it is feeling like I have too much product on my face. It is defintely a sign that my skin is much better than it had been. Previously, I couldn't get enough moisture on my skin. This is also the first year that I haven't had any dry flaky spots on my skin. I still may get it once we get the bitter cold, but so far - my skin is the best it has ever been. |

Just mentioning some things not previously said (I think):
I use avocado oil/olive oil prior to applying Retin A .025 every night. I massage it in using Tanaka method, then blot excess oil.
OCM using castor oil, vegetable glycerin and olive oil and steam cloth about 3 times per week. I think every day may be too drying.
Since I can't wax my face, I'm using the mini Panasonic shaver. Trust me, it's not making the hair grow back dark or stiff, though I'm not crazy about the stubbly feeling just above my lip. I will discontinue shaving within about 1/8 inch of my lip. |

Barefoot Girl - I like your attitude about what your skin 'needs' (like P/S...)
'09 was the year I stopped all my normal skincare products to try a new one, to much dispair.... It took all the 2nd half of '09 and most of '10 to correct the havoic.
I am now on a fairly simple routine - thankfully back to using Copper Peptides and having nice skin again.
AM
cleanse - Skin Biology Gentle Cleanse
treat - DIY Vit C or a CP product (Day Cover)(face/neck); SB Body Lotion or Suntan Lotion (body); Easy Eye Solutions (not daily - not always needed)
SS - MMU(face)
PM
cleanse
treat - Skin Biology Skin Signals Serum (face & neck); Skin Bio Night Eyes, Carmol 40 (feet)
Occasional - BHA, Retin A, spot treat w/ a stronger CP (SC2X or Super CP), emu oil as needed (not often),SB Tin Nail Peptides (weekly), dermaroller (as my skin has cleared up). I also use up samples of other CP products.
Regular use of: Safetox, HF, AALS, washcloth |
