Lately I have seen a lot of medical doctors and cosmetic centres advertise that they do Botox, fillers and microdermabrasion on these discount deal sites like Groupon,Living social and others.
Not too sure what to make of this as it seems more in the US there are a lot of doctors advertising Botox for like 1/2 price.
I'm not too sure what to make of medical professionals advertising on sites like that.
Almost any company or person can advertise on those sites.
I'm not too sure I trust those people as much?
I have bought a lot of those deals from coupon sites and probably buy 3+ deals a week- but these are either for activities,food/restaurant only.
Does anyone have experience in buying spa or cosmetic procedure packages from any of those sites (Groupon, Living social, wag jag ect...)
I also see a lot of spa packages being advertised. |

I have used a coupon for and bought a spa package from a Med/Spa. It had discount IPL's, facials, microderms, discounted botox and fillers, eyebrow wax and massage. I didn't use the botox and filler, just the others. I got it for 50.00 and only paid 50.00 for the best IPL i have ever had. |

yes, i bought vouchers from 2 diff drs. One I used yesterday, and the other will do so in 4 months. It's their way to bring in new patients in tough times. The dr I used yesterday I won't go back. He tried to say @ voucher is only 10 units when it clearly states 20 on it. Then he told me he used all 100 units on me. I bought 5 vouchers. My friend used the other dr, and she liked him. The dr my friend used got good reviews on web sites incl healthgrades and vitals. The one I used (checked him after) has a sanction history from medical board in 2009 and records state his license is revoked for 5 yrs. Yikes! So Check BEFORE you buy. |

So,
are you saying the doctor is practicing without a license or that his license was revoked and he got it back now??
Always good to check those things. |
