For some time now there's been allot of buzz around about a skincare line available from Aldi Supermarkets called Lacura.
Tonight on a local current affairs programme they had a story on it, claiming that people were getting very good results from the serum in the range. You can watch the video here:

It has also been tested against Boots Protect & Perfect and came out on top.

In Australia the product is available for the measly sum of $10.00. I think I'll have to give it a try. Has anyone else tried this product range. |

Me too!!! I think we'll have to get there early!
I've heard about this line before too, but I think it was the face cream, not the serum. It does seem to have a big following. |

I don't live very close to an Aldi store, so instead I just looked on Ebay and was able to buy two bottles of the serum from the UK Ebay for less than $30 AU including postage and delivery. I only ordered two days ago so can't comment on the product itself but the ebay seller had 100% approval rating. Given it didn't cost that much more than buying from an Australian aldi supermarket, it's worth the risk. |

My local Aldi was sold out!! It was quite funny to see all the women who were looking for it.
I have seen some on ebay, so will probably end up getting it from there. |

I've been to two stores and they were both sold out. I tried again yesterday but they haven't restocked. Yes, it was really funny to see all the women pawing over the products trying to find it. I was too snobby - I just glided past and searched the shelves with my x-ray vision!! |

Okay I received this in the post and used it for three nights. It is very rich and greasy and I would classify it as a lotion or cream rather than a serum. Although it does sink in my skin feels slippery afterwards. It is highly fragranced and it takes hours for the fragrance to fade.It made the skin around my eyes irritated and at the end of three days I had blocked pores around my nose and small pimples on my forehead. I don't normally get pimples on my forhead.
It does have silicones in it and my skin doesn't always respond well to silicones, although it does depend on the percentage. I had a similar reaction around 3 years ago to their retinol and q10 night cream. Anyway it has already been given to a friend of mine who wanted to try it, but I did warn her I had a potential allergic reaction to it. |

I wish Lacura was available in Canada. Typically, Canada would get a lot of European brands. We have a lot of other brands from Germany, why not this? |
