Hi
I am olive skinned, a rather combo and sensitive skin type-very reactive. I am intolerant to any eye cream or gel I have ever tried. I get millia, overnight. Stubborn and impossible millia. I have pretty much given up on eye creams/gels. I am 33 now, and I am trying Mederma scar gel-yes, Ive got a pretty bad ding on my face I'm considering having revised-I wondered...could this be used as an eye gel? Of all the places so far my eye area has stayed youthful, but I am in my mid 30's and I have fine wrinkles starting. It would certainly hydrate and plump up the area...has anyone tried this? Ive done a search but I found nothing. Any thoughts on this? |

Hi!
I have certainly used non-eye-creams around my eyes with success, and lately two healing gels: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast and Bioderma Cicabio.
Mederma gel INGREDIENTS: WATER (PURIFIED), PEG-4, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE, ALLIUM CEPA (ONION) BULB EXTRACT, XANTHAN GUM, ALLANTOIN, METHYLPARABEN, SORBIC ACID, FRAGRANCE.
I don't see any obvious milia-causers, and if the fragrance doesn't bother you, why not? Have you also considered a double cleanse in the evening, like eye-makeup remover or the equivalent on a cotton pad, followed by your regular cleanser all over? I find this helps me prevent milias from my sunscreen. |
