In your opinion, what product/products are the best for skin firming/tightening? The "fold" that is showing from the corner of my mouth to the chin is getting more pronounced as the years go by and I am not ready to go under the knife yet (maybe, when the fold starts to reach my neck Laughing )
Thanks

Check into filler. Retin-a and vitamin C serum can provide some firming but not really significantly if you have a fold.

Thanks. I already use Retin A and Vit C serum. I haven't thought of using filler for the chin area. I guess I have a concern that it it may look like I have 2 candy balls inside my mouth, on the side of my lower front teeth. Shock I wish I can find a picture of someone who has done fillers in that area. Maybe I will call a dermatologist who does fillers and see if they can show me some pics. Thanks again.

I'm having good results with my Palo Via laser on my lip lines and other places around my mouth(and other areas on my face)where I needed plumping or wrinkle reduction.

I also really believe in copper peptides...this is no quick fix, but over time I've seen much improvement!!

Yes filler can definitely be used on marionette lines. Check out the radiesse and juvederm site's for before/afters. But I would also want to see actual photo's from the the dr doing the injections.

I have had a small amount there, plus a little botox on the lower chin/jaw muscles at each side which allows the lips to relax back up and not pull down (if you can picture that). Night and day results for me and it has lasted about 2 to 2 1/2 years. The juvaderm was so subtle, it just filled nicely, no cottonball effect. Again, the injector/experience makes the difference. Then you follow with your serums, retinols etc to gently erase the lines.

Retin-A does have exfoliation properties but can also be absorbed into the skin to directly stimulate the collagen. Where as AHA exfoliates the top layers creating a small injury to allow for collagen stimulation, and also improves the look of lines from the surface. Retin-A is the better of the two.

Aveda's green science serum is clinically proven to lift firm and moisturise the skin.
Have a look on the livestrong site. Its active ingredients are argan oil, cactus seed oil and plai oil.
I have been using intensive arcs oil by Going Natural which is argan and cactus seed oil. From what I have heard this oil is really works.
From what you have written, it seems like you have jowls. I always feel that jowls hang more and stretch the skin more when they are filled.
Rather than fill them and look like you have just stepped out of the dentists, why not try to firm your skin and increase the collagen? It may not be an overnight effect but it will be worth it in the long run. I have noticed a real difference in the elasticity of my skin.

Retin A + Derma rolling takes time but it really helps plus face exercises or a good face exercise machine.
