F80 flat top & F84 angled top long-handled kabukis ($16 each)
I purchased these after reading many favourable online reviews, some suggested they better MAC's duo-fibre brushes! The Sigmax bristles are super soft and densely packed, so it's easy for even a foundation novice to achieve an airbrushed finish. My one criticism is the plastic protective sleeve. When removed it can ruffle the outermost fibres, and would slow drying time after washing - both of which can shorten the life of the brush. Therefore, if you are using these on a daily basis, I would suggest investing in a set of Brush Guards.
F70 concealer, L05 covered lip, E05 eyeliner, E15 flat definer ($9 each)
The bristles are silky but securely fixed so fairly stiff; this means they pick up product well and deposit evenly without irritating my sensitive skin! The F70 works equally well with cream-to-powder products as runny water-based formulations, and the size would be perfect for applying cream eyeshadows. I love that the chrome cover for the L05 can be attached to the end of the brush to form a full size handle. The E15 gives a super fine 1-2mm line and the E05 a thicker 3-4mm line, so it is worth having both if you like to create different looks.
Overview
I am delighted with the performance and quality of these synthetic brushes, and would be happy for a beauty professional to use them on me. My previous brushes were a mix of Boots and Body Shop, all of which were lower quality and would be more expensive to replace, so I feel Sigma's synthetic brushes represent incredible value for money.

Thanks for this review! I'm always looking for good brushes because I have some MAC brushes and some of the other high end brands like Chanel and Nars - some are good, some are meh - most I wouldn't repurchase, I'd look for a better brand |

If you like nylon brushes you might want to look at craft brushes.
A lot of them,I swear are the same.
I have a few Masterstroke brand brushes from a craft shop and after 1 year of weekly washing w dish soap they are just like new.
Their fan brush is great for blushes!
I actually have a lot of "professional" brushes that are not for retail sale (like what makeup artists use...they were given to me by a store rep years ago).
And I find I reach for the cheaper craft brushes daily over Dior and Makeup Forever brushes, lol.
I've heard of Sigma brushes, but will have to look into them! |

What kind of foundation are you using with your brushes? I like the look of the f80 and f84 for my mineral powder foundation. What made you decide not to get the big kabuki brush?
Thanks! I know what to put on my Christmas list! |

Just a drugstore liquid foundation. I don't use mineral make up; Goldenappleoferis on YouTube has reviewed the F82 with MMU tho. I didn't purchase it because I figured I didn't need three synthetic kabukis! I may yet end up ordering the F82 tho, since I like the others so much. |

I feel a lemming coming on, I am a major makeup brush junkie. They are really one of the most important things a girl can have in her makeup draw. Not only are they fun to use but they also help makeup do a better job and are perfect for blending as opposed to your hands. I'll have to look into this brand as my Body Shop base brush has just about had it |

THANK YOU!!
I bought one for myself for Christmas and I love it. So soft and perfect timing -my BareMineral big fluffy brush was starting to feel scratchy. |

I was a little worried because I switched from Bare Minerals to Jane Iredale but it goes on very nice. |
