Is the mia as good as the regular? I know the regular has more frills such as beep and two speeds. But otherwise? |

I would say the MIA. It's light weight and also travel conveienct it doesnt come with a big charger cradle like the original. The #1 thing is that its lighter cause my hand does feel tired from holding the bigger one also a big plus the MIA is more affordable! |

Ar, Im not sure whether to get the Mia or the Pro.
Pro because it has a 'high' mode and i'll use it twice a week just before a face mask. It also has the body brush and I was thinking that it would exfoliate and reduce ingrown hair?
Mia because its light weight and looks alot easier to use.
What does everyone think? |

I've had both. The full-sized I returned after a few weeks, heavy, large and seemed more like a chore.
I have the Mia now and love it. I can throw it in my makeup bag, smaller charger. It just stays in my bath basket on my tub and out of the way.
The size is more convenient for me so I use it more. I don't miss the other beeps and timers at all! |

The regular is heavier but it comes with a charge stand. Pro does offer a few more choice in cleansing mode. Mia is lighter in weight and comes with a plink charge. It only offer one speed in cleansing. |

I love my Pro. I use it morning and evening followed by serums. It has really cleaned up my face. |

Thanks for the info ladies! I am looking into purchasing a Clarisonic and I couldn't decide between the Mia and regular sized one.
I have to ask though: Is it true that it helps visibly reduce the appearance of large pores?
Cheers!

Hi!
I've had the Clarisonic Pro for about 4 months now, love it, no longer need to exfoliate, and I have noticed that my pores appear smaller. I did have "orange peel" skin on my forehead & cheeks and def notice a great improvement. It didn't happen overnight but it has happened!! |

I'm also thinking of purchasing the MIA, so I'm eager to see others' replies as well! |

I've used both the regular Clarisonic and the Mia. Although the regular has a few more speeds and beeps to indicate when you should start moving to the next area of your face, I don't really feel that it is that different from the Mia. My Mia came with a universal P-link charger, which is really convenient for traveling. The smaller size is also very nice.
In terms of effectiveness, I feel that the two work equally well. It's just that if you think that you might want to use the clarisonic on other areas of your body in addition to your face, you're better off with the regular. So basically, it depends on your needs.
Both products, in my opinion, are wonderful. I really enjoy using them to clean my face. I haven't really noticed a visible reduction in the appearance of pores or anything dramatic (yet!), but believe that very few people will regret purchasing one.

I just received the Mia in the mail and it's much bigger and heavier than what I expected for a travel size contraption, so I'm glad I didn't get the Classic, which I was considering, as I would probably be too huge for me (small bathroom)! |

Having taken my Mia on my trip to Mexico, I did love the size. It stayed charged for two weeks so I didn't even have to use the charger. But it was so easy to pack and the charger was so small, I brought it anyway. I love the handy size and do not miss the full-size frills at all as I didn't even use them. |

Is anyone able to describe the different speeds in the regular, compared to the one speed in the mia. TIA |

MarieIG,
Although I never had the regular Clarisonic model and the Mia for a side-by-side comparison, I believe the Mia operates on the slower of the two speeds of the regular Clarisonic.
I think that having more than one speed is an issue only for those people who want to use the brush on parts other than the face; for example, the newer Clarisonic brushes have 3 or 4 speeds so that the brush can be used on arms, etc. Some people like using the 2 speed for the face, but I personally think the brush does a more than adequate job on the lowest (Mia) setting. |

Can you use the body head with the Mia? I know you're not "supposed" to , but has anyone tried it?
I'd really prefer to get the Mia over the Plus, but I want to be able to use it on my body too. Any thoughts? |

Thanks, Ricebunny. From the posts, I'm guessing the slower speed is the more gentle speed? |

Yes, slower = gentler. |

Thanks again Ricebunny. I don't think I would need it for the body, and would be looking for the gentler setting, so the Mia sounds as if it would be appropriate for me. |

So Mia is a better choice if you travel a lot and want to bring it. Pro has a stand, better for use at home. I bought pro before mia comes out. But I do not travel, so I would still buy pro if I had a second choice. |

My Mia came in the post yesterday. I am so impressed! My skin feels clean and the clogged skin is getting better. I also ordered the original sized one for a friend and it's really big. I found that the Mia is very ergonomic and easy to use. |
