Ferulic + Vitamin C + E Serum (CompareTo Skinceuticals)

I've been using a product called Ferulic + Vitamin C + E Serum (CompareTo Skinceuticals)from a company on Ebay called Skin Beauty Solutions. They have their own web site too.

I've noticed my finger nails are always stained yellow after I use it. In a recent photo I took of myself and a friend I appeared to look rather yellow faced in comparison to his dark tanned healthy looking skin.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I using too much.?

Would I be better buying a product like Devita C serum instead for my Vit C needs?

You might be best to contact the seller, they know what the ingredients are, what the right 'dose' is and if the yellowing signifies the product has gone off.

Vitamin C shouldn't be able to stain your skin and nails orange. That's just what oxidized vit C looks like but it doesn't stain skin and nails. You should try investing in some homemade vit c serum. There's plenty of those topics here

I am certainly interested in making my own Vit C serum for sure. I've been trying to work out which is Kassy's latest and best recipe. There are quite a lot so I want to try her most recent one if anyone can link me to it or post it.

Thankyou for the ingredients. Oddly enough I have a load og wheat germ oil left from the last lot of soap I made. Kassy, can I just ask how I mix it together in what sequence and do you use syringes for measuring the tiny quantites or do you weigh them?

Are you finding this works better for you than the one with the THDA?
