Do you think using all natural and organic facial products will benefit your skin in the long-run?

The only thing that's been proven to help in the long run is Retin A and Vitamin C. I don't think there's any particular benefit to using all natural or organic skin care products.

What I mean is are natural products better for the skin than non-natural products? do drugstore or dermatologist products or any products with chemicals cause harm to the skin if you use them for a long time.

I don't think they are better, it is just a matter of personal preference. There are some drugstore brands that are very good and do not have harsh ingredients like too much alcohol in them. You just have to decide which ingredients you want in your products and which you don't and look for products that have your desired ingredients in them.

A case can be made for or against either depending on the ingredient and individual sensitivities, natural or organic is not always good for skin eg. people may be allergic to a totally organic ingredient while tolerating a lab created one just fine.

I personally balance organic oils, EO's ect. and also use products that aren't organic RA, DIY C serum ect.

i use organic and non-organic products. Both work great however the big trends right now in skincare are leaned towards organic.

To be honest, I'm sensitive to some of the organic products. You need to try them.

I agree with LilyChoi. I've used Eminence products that really irritated my skin (and my skin is pretty tough). I don't think organic is better than non-organic per se, it really depends on your skin and the product...

My skin tolerates most anything, but artificial fragrances drive my eyes batty (even face creams). I do much better with EO's or un-fragranced products. Others I know have a reaction to Essential Oils. It is all so individual what we can and can't use. Very Happy

i don't have any allergies so i'm able to tolerate anything. I think those people with allergies to fruits should be very cautious when purchasing organic products. I do really like the idea of organic products....we consume so much artificial stuff in our everyday life anyways, so why not feed your skin something natural once in a while
