Hello all!
I was just wondering...when you first started your facial exercise program, where did you first start seeing results first and how long did it take to see results in each area (more or less)?
For me, doing Ageless, it took about 11 weeks to finally see a difference in my cheeks. They are getting fuller with that nice definition under the cheekbones, when I smile slightly, that I used to have years ago. I've still got about 45 pounds to lose, so I'm hoping to sculpt that area even more as I continue to lose weight. My eyes are just starting to lift a smidgen (just a smidgen...no more, no less). I'm most anxious to see improvement here and my eyebrows lifting. I think it'll take another 4-6 weeks of work to really see a difference in those areas.
How about you all? |

I have only barely just begun, inspiration is from this lovely lady and her brilliant blog
Dempeaux
I would prefer a 5 minute routine though. I will look into the one you are using as well. |

Oh, I love that blog. Just added it to my favorites. What a pretty woman! And what a remarkable difference she's made on her eyelids doing facial exercises. I didn't read everything, but does she say when she started the program? |

She is lovely. May 2011 or so. She DIY's pretty much everything now. I blame her for my venture into pigments, she has a post on making Eye Shadows...so I am trying my hand at lipstick. |

I saw changes in my skin around 4 or so months in, and changes in my facial fullness starting around 5.5 months in. |

In my experience this varies from person to person. In time frames as well as location on the face.
Generically, I find people FEEL a difference within 1-2 months. They notice a difference in 3-4 months. And their friends can't figure out what is different in 5-6 months. They think you got your hair cut, or changed your makeup. People that really LOOK at you, (your mother, your spouse) will start quizzing you. What is different?
Also, as you lose weight, for example. Your friends will be totally and completely clueless. They will see the weightloss and the lift and have absolutely NO IDEA what is exactly different. They will just go on and on about how amazing you look.
Mark my words! |

I've been exercising (FE with some of the ageless subbed in as I find the grips easier) since Oct 2011 with a looooooong two months hiatus in Dec and Jan. I can't see any difference at all yet, but my mil (who always comments how skinny my face is and thinks I look like I'm about to die of malnutrition) said, "you look good" last week. So there might be something happening! God willing!
This is ironic, as I tend to build muscle quite easily... but I was having problem recruiting/activating some of the muscles and compensating with others. I'm working on that diligently and hoping for more visible results in the upcoming months. |

I do the Flexeffect program. I have done it consistantly for about a year now. The first signs of progress was that my skin felt thicker. It took me several months to see that my face was looking a bit firmer. Then there were some days in between where I looked tired. Then my face would look good again. Now my face overall is firmer, especially my cheek and jawline area. My upper eyelids still need work. They go from looking firm one week, then droopy, then firm again. So I think that area will take awhile longer to see consistant results.
I do the program 5x per week and alternate the exercises every week. Overall, I am happy with the program and I will keep up with it. This and retin a has made a difference in my face. I am in my late forties. |

Thank you all for your replies. It gives me much hope that I will continue to see even more positive changes over the next few months. |

My eyelids were great to begin with, so I didn't really see any changes there. My main areas of concern have always been a lack of fullness in my cheeks and undereye area. They are still continuing to improve steadily but it has not been a short process, but nonetheless totally worth it for me! Just saw a photo a friend took of me last week and I keep getting happier with the way I look in photos |
