DrJ, I would love to know your thoughts on these ingredients...
Collagen8 New Formula 30ml - Next Generation Intensifying Serum.
Using a precise combination of science & nature, from the moment you apply Collagen8 the peptides & ingredients start to counteract the appearance of visible & invisible signs of ageing.
Collagen8 provides an instant hydration and reinforces your skins own moisture barrier. Within minutes your skin will look and feel more dewy, lustrous, taut, & youthful.
Collagen8 is an integral collagen treatment that tackles the problems associated with each ageing stage. It is free of parabens & petrochemicals and has recently been boosted by the inclusion of two new ingredients, Dermadisine and CG-IDP2.
DERMADISINE Helps to retail water in the skin. Dermadisine possess the ability to immediately reduce the appearance of wrinkles with long lasting moisturising effects. Dermadisine is shown to retain more moisture and faster than hyaluronic acid.
CG-IDP2 Helps to reduce and prevent the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It does this by strengthening skin elasticity and optimises collagen and elastin.
TRYLAGEN Optimises Collagen
ALDERNINE Optimises Collagen
LIPOMOIST An exclusive & unique formulation which delivers super hydration and firming. Forms a moisturising protective film on the skin, improves cohesion of the epidermal extracellular matrix & increases cellular protein levels.
Thank you so much for your time, appreciate it. |

The actives are from Lipotec, the Spanish company that has a reputation for inventing things out of thin air, one after another, with no external validation. Their explanations are often at odds with all known cell biology and derm. science. Low "trust factor".
What they claim:
Collagen8 combines three key ingredients carried in a molecular film; Tryagen, Aldinene and Lipomoist.
Tryagen is a combination of active peptides and plant proteins that boost, organise and protect collagen.
WHAT PEPTIDES?
Aldinene also boosts collagen production, inhibits RCS free radical activity and protects against UVA radiation.
REALLY - HOW?
Lipomoist is a potent hydrator, twice as effective as Hyaluronic acid over 12 hours.
Hyadisine(Dermadisine) helps retain water in the skin. Dermadisine has the ability to immediately reduce the appearance of wrinkles with long lasting moisturising effects. Dermadisine is shown to retain more moisture, faster, than hyaluronic acid.
NO EVIDENCE
Stemaxiderm (CG-IDP2) helps to reduce & prevent the appearance of lines and wrinkles by strengthening the skins elasticity & optimises collagen and elastin.
NOTE THE "STEM" PART - OF COURSE HASD NOTHING TO DO WITH STEM CELL CELL SCIENCE -- MAYBE THEY MEAN PLANT STEM?
Collagen8 delivers instant and lasting results. It's hydrating effect (lifting and toning) is instant while the anti-wrinkle effect is gradual and peaks after 15 days.
DEFIES ALL KNOWN SKIN PHYSIOLOGY. YOU CANNOT BUILD ENOUGH COLLAGEN TO MAKE A VISIBLE DIFFERENCE IN 15 DAYS.
YOU CAN LOOK UP THE DATA SHEETS AT LIPOTEC. I VIEW THEM AS MAINLY WORKS OF FICTION.

The CEO of my Australian company knows the PM. She is a strong supporter of science & technology initiatives. I'll ask him to make sure she is educated about all this. |

My first post here lets hope I get this right.
I tried to provide a link to a Hearld Sun article on this subject - but it was blocked - I understand as I'm new and might be a spammer. If you Google Dermaspa Prime Minister it should come u.
AQ was on TVSN flogging her products implying the PM uses the product. It appears the product was given to the PM - who decided to keep it - was that for herself - who knows. |

I liken the sales techniques involved to sell these product to those employed in the 'Emperor's new Clothes'.
Don't even get me started on the claims AQ made on TVSN that she uses an ingredient in one of her products that cures cancer in the body.
She has also made this statement: Parabens be careful ladies! It’s actually a scientific fact that comes – and the reports come from Lipotec in Spain. That they’ve tested some breast tumours and they found that it’s due to too many parabens on the skin........ |

Gee, this is all very interesting!
Some of there B & A are pretty good, but does just look like improved hydration. They actually just released a new product today!! Called Mature8...
Mature8 Duo! 2 x 50ml. Mature8 is a sophisticated multi-action formula for reviving the appearance of ageing skin. Skin ageing is primarily caused by extrinsic impact (our environment), chronology, hormonal changes, and photo- ageing (sun damage). Together these ageing factors can result in sagging and thin skin that appears unhealthy and lifeless without elasticity, resilience or firmness.
Mature8 is comprised of targeted active ingredients. These active ingredients have been shown in manufacturer trials to redensify, restructure, tighten, and hydrate the skin to restore a youthful appearance.
The active ingredients are:
SERILESINE designed to firm the appearance of the skin by restoring and strengthening the cutaneous structure and redensifying the skin.
ADIFYLINE helps increase the volume of fatty tissue in targeted areas improving appearance by restoring youthful curves.
BODYFENSINE works to help re-enforce the skins natural defense mechanism. In a Lipotec trial on women with skin blemishes, Bodyfensine reduced blemishes, pore size and skin redness while improving skin evenness.
RELISTASE has been shown to enhance skin resilience (elasticity) and tighten the skin.
LIPOMOIST an exclusive and unique formulation delivering super hydration with firming.
PROBACILLUS REVIVE consists of isolates from Lactobacillus bulgaricus and other prebiotics to enhance & optimize the skins appearance.
Country of Origin: AUSTRALIA
They have mentioned derma rolling in passing, so I think most of the results are actually from that, but isn't funny how they twist things. It makes me so suspicious of everything!!
@DrJ...the Australian PM has really nice skin, I always notice when I see her on TV, it would be interesting to know if she does actually use these products. |

Good now I think I have worked out how to do a post that is not a quote.
Would you believe the nerve of this woman (AQ) she was on TVSN yesterday saying Mature 8 can be used to volumise the breasts by 19% over 30 days - yeh sure and the World is coming to an end later this year too..... |

If you're familiar with AQ you will be able to notice that in recent times she appears to have had some sort of filler injected into her face, maybe Juvederm or something similar
Back in the day when they first launched Arestaline8 I tried it, I actually got a sample and my skin loved it - so I purchased. But after a while it didnt really seem to do a lot for my skin. I've also purchased the newer formulation and it's ok but nothing wonderful. |
